This is the best chorus pedal I’ve ever had, and I collect high end chorus/vibrato pedals. It’s unbelievable. It changes your tone drastically but in the best way possible, and without compromising anything. I’ve had some high end CE-1 clones but sorry guys, this one has no competition. Also, this is coming from someone that has owned a couple Warm Audio overdrive pedals and didn’t really care for them. This CE1 is a huge step up. They’ve won me over and I can’t wait to get their compressor.
Man, finally!!! CE-1 is THE chorus sound for me and nothing else ever came close in case of replicating that sound, all of those Voodoo Labs or other clones. Original ones are too unreliable, bulky and need seperate power solution. I also tried Roland JC amps but the attack on those was so quick and instant, it would bite you in the ass every time you hit the string too hard so the overall experience was generally shite, even though it had the added bonus of being stereo - with a delay it got all those 80s sounds of Marillion, early Cure or all Metallica ballads, also stereo makes it very suitable for shoegaze. But next to a valve-powered Vox - even AC-15 or smaller AC-10 - it was such an unpleasant experience, I had to get rid of it.
I love the parts that Joe plays in this video. Very musical.

The chorus/vibrato pedal sounds great but that blue LED is gonna give somebody a seizure.
😂 💯
Black markers take care of that. The worst i ever had was a syntrx 2 led. It was a laser 🙈
lol you weren't kidding
The intensity, was rate and depth together on the original. which gives it its unique sound
You saying it cant be duplicated without that part of the circuit?
Fantastic demo!!! Some serious Andy Summers vibes can be had with these pedals!!! Love that you used a synth too!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥✌🏽❤️
Looks like my old Boss Chorus , great for recordings !

High pass filter and clean blend version pleeeeeeeease
Great review, these pedals rule! Also, those are some great sounding Tele Pickups! Do you happen to know what they are?
It appears to be an American Professional II Telecaster If that's any help.
I want that pedal 76 just for the looks alone! 🎛👀
Which Drive pedal was used before the comp?
when he kicked on that compressor, noise floor was huge.
Only when the input is maxed.
@@christoph.meggers Thanks for the info.
He's also running at ratios that are practically limiting for most of this
I've noticed they have gone more towards SMT, so not thru hole components throughout and therefore an unservicable pedal. Why make more landfill?
Dude just quit buying pedals or amps at all then. Most stuff is built that way now
lol have you seen people fixing iphones??? It is possible to repair SMD components most pedals use SMD now a days so I guess just stop buying junk.
Those are great prices, I do wonder if they are using cinemag transformers like they do in the rack version
Yes, there’s even a Cinemag logo on the back of the pedal. I believe it’s a single transformer in the pedal version.
Name of the bass model in the end of the video?
Where's Andy?
*HARKING back
Made in China?
When did making knock offs a trend?
:C
When companies stopped making their classic products or even offering repair support for them.
@@jamesbennettmusic2154 Right on. And I'm all for it
