Yes, we all miss Orangey and great adventures like these.
Wow, I can’t believe some of you are going to leave his channel or aren’t interested anymore, for the mere fact that he hasn’t been doing the same type of adventures as he did before. I liked those old adventures too and that’s why I joined, because this is exactly what I would want to do. But what this channel should do, is inspire you to go out and make your own adventures like this. It has inspired me to do just that and I made my first solo camping/overlanding adventure to the closest middle-of-nowhere to me at Big Bend NP. I am in complete awe of how he could do this day in and day out over basically the past 5 years. Even one night alone in solitude and I never realized how used to having people around I was. Show him some respect and know that he’s provided tons of content like this that can be watched over and over again.
If the channel isn’t interesting or has went in a direction people don’t like why should they keep watching ?
Chris life has radically changed since the beginning
He’s basically in a relationship now own what three vehicles and the content is different
I wish Chris well but I lost interest after he bought the mega van camper thing
A man a Jeep a nomad life style turned into a relationship multiple cars and him being more domesticated
Again I wish him well but it’s not the same
Chrome on vanvanlife had the same turn chrome is basically a well off UA-camr w an assistant two vehicles a storage barn always selling something lost my interest awhile ago
I watch what I like and end of the day Chris is gonna live the life he wants to live I don’t have to support him forever same w chrome
@@seanodeli7031 Yeah that is your choice, but you also won't be around to see how the story goes. He was kind enough share his life with us, through good times and bad. Just seems so petty to unfollow or unsubscribe, just because the story isn't to someone's liking. Seems akin to not being friends with someone anymore, just because they're now at a different job or their interests changed.
Can't wait until the weekly adventure videos start again. Really missing looking forward to content like this every Saturday. Great upload and memories. Thanks as always!
Probably the best UA-cam video I’ve seen.
He really IS. a very good photographer. Solo adventures he took us along and let’s show some appreciation.
Wake me up when the Jeep returns.
I agree with a number of these reviews. I understand that things change and most never remain the same. You had a good run, thank you for that commitment and for sharing those adventures.
The amount of inspiration this video gives me to go out on my own is unmatched! This video is stunning!
Thank you so much for the ride! Great job.
It’s nice to see a callback to the toilet table.
The evolution of camping dinners made me laugh. From grilled cheese, to cheeseburgers, to spaghetti.....
It's not a Venture4wd show without a gratuitous shot of two split hot dogs and a discussion on weather vs. grilled cheese. If you're still in town, the farmer's market in Oro Valley (Steam Pump Ranch) on Saturday is pretty good. There's a local coffee roaster that roasts the night before. It's good stuff.
This is an amazing look back over the years Chris. I've watched all of your videos, at least once, and travelled "with you" across the continent through the highs and the lows. Looking forward to sharing in the next years of your adventures. 🧡
any video with Orangey as thumbnail picture will get my attention ... :)
Very graceful Winter gymnastics from the snowy picnic table! And also one of your best videos yet, much appreciated.
I miss orangey!!! Can’t wait to have her back!
I'm glad to call Wyoming home. Love the landscape and open land. Come on back any time.
Amazing and beautiful. Both the locations and your adventurous soul - Thank you Chris... Onward!
Kinda been there with you , just epic man ,please get the jeep back and do some more for us who can't ..... Cause its real good !!!
I loved the videos of Moab Utah I'm a Utah boy and it just makes my heart soar!!
That was a great video there is no shame in replaying scene from the past. My favorites were Newfoundland and Colorado.
Twillingate, my hometown. Still can't believe you were in my hometown and I wasn't there at the time. All the best in 2022.
That Labrador and Newfoundland series really got me to thinking to plan a trip up there.
@@michaelsakowich7026 great place to visit. If you have any questions let me know. I was in the tourist business for 14 years.
Thank you Chris; thank you for the memories, as the song goes; thank you for the inspiration!!!
Chris...really like this review...and as always appreciated your honest feedback...thank you, Sir
I think this is one of your best recap videos ever
I agree completely! I've watched every episode and it is absolutely the best one for scenery and outstanding camping spots.
Thank goodness Shannon rescued you from tomato pasta and burgers!!! I hope the landie is a reliable Tardis... mine wasn't!!!
What your doing is awesome man this makes me question why I continue working a day job in our broken system every day. Peace safe travels
Hi dear Chris, I really really miss your orange Jeep. I hope I see it again. After all, thank you for sharing amazing videos.
Aww man, I thought Orangie was back! Good video though. Keep on truckin' Chris.
The glacier Chris went to near Hyder Alaska is called Salmon Glacier. Chris went up a mining road which starts in Canada, crosses to Hyder, Alaska and back into Canada. Up to the glacier overlook, cars, vans and standard Class C can easily take the mining road. When I was there, due to construction, going beyond the lookout was not open to the public. Well worth seeing if you are in Stewart, B.C.
Chris, more like a view with a room! Beautiful!
That was fun seeing Orangee again...
This was a fabulous video. I used to watch your channel......I have missed seeing your videos. I Can't wait to catch up. Thanks so much for sharing such beautiful destinations.
The Storm at the end was the best ! ! Thanks
Another great video, Chris!! Sometimes I don’t think you know how lucky you are, having seen more of your own country than 99% of your countrymen (and women!). Nice seeing a compilation of your adventures with Orangie and thanks for correctly pronouncing some of those Canadian sites, eh! 🇨🇦
Great video👍 we know exactly where that campsite is on the North Rim. We did @300 off-road miles there in October and are heading back in April😃
Hope you don't get offended by this Chris, but my kids LOVE that part when you fall off the bench shoveling snow :) There was another time when you fell while hiking and that got them howling! HA! Kids these days. Thanks for sharing. Man, I really do miss the Jeep. I am taking my Jeep 'Joy' to Big Bend state park and Davis Mountains in a few weeks. Take care!
Awesome Video Chris, Hope All Is Well.
The UP of Mich. Is so much like where you said you could stay as long as your bug spray lasts. There is so much serinity everywhere you go in UP just have to spend time there in the fall for camping kayaking every outdoor sport it's AN AMAZING Place for adventure!! Oh!! And THANKYOU!! SO MUCH I sooo enjoyed every minute had to watch twice!
Loved this weeks video!
I love all the views.
Cape Lookout is some of the best beach camping out their. We camp there one to two times a year there. Looking to expand are range.
Weird that none of Shontzy's "best camping experiences" feature the clunky Revel at all. Oh wait, that's right, it's because that thing never leaves a KOA parking lot.
hard to finish work when you are showing so many great places to camp and hike! BTW, I did what you advise last summer, just wandering around in Wyoming mountains and W Nebraska hills. Very cool!
Are you ever going to interact with your followers on the comments???
A look back at when Venture4wd was actually about adventure … a reminder of what got us hooked to begin with … and what has been missing!!!!!
Really missing ol orangie after watching this
some absolutely great camping spots on this video. the cape reminded me of my many camping experiences on Assateague National seashore, where you can drive on the south end and fish and camp. quiet and majestic.
Enjoyed the video. Very beautiful scenery!
I hope you come back to Vancouver Island. We have lots of really great back country. Epic water falls. Stunning beaches and mountain views. And the occasional orca pod. 😁
Precioso, lugares hermosos, felicitaciones por estos videos
I truly miss those old style videos and simple meals. Guess reminds me of me.
Jeep is coming back, right??
Great compilation!👍🏽
Wow! What a life!
As a Saskatchewanian you did pretty well with “Saskatchewan River”. Hit the last ‘a’ a little hard but that’s pretty common. Come hang out in Saskatchewan for a week, hit the prairie, some deep northern forest, and some sand dunes and you’ll have it perfect
Just found your channel and really enjoying. Thank you
When I saw you at Purgatory last year, I said I had watched that Orange Jeep fo years. The two that are seared in my mind are when it was on its side in that ditch. I just knew that was the end. And then the what seemed like miles of winching to get back to the road. Taught me to be weather alert.
We now have his secret cheeseburger recipe!
Great inspiration, Chris, thanks!
Cheeseburgers, spaghetti...man, you used to eat so well!
Great video of the various places to explore when I retire.
Excellent review of your travels, I forgot some of those places.
Thank you for sharing!
Good to see Old Red Plate again. 😏
So beautiful all of your videos, keep up the good work
That was awesome Chris, Thank you.
Great video. There is a lot of negativity in the comments that isn't worth listening to. You be you Chris, dont be anything else
Loved it
Indeed a life well lived. Congratz.
That screen shot with orange Jeep and roof top tent had me going. Thought he replaced OG and Ursa Minor. Or should I say OJ?
Great stuff! Thanks!
Please provide an Orangey update
Great video thank you!
Awesome
The photo of you camped in the cave mouth should be in a magazine.
Loved this…thx!
LOL, 34:26 using a toilet as a dinner table.
Clip videos again. Yeah
Very nice Chris👍
I'm sad poor orangey is gone 😭 RIP to the Jeep
Yay!
You could have used a forward facing camera at 14:08.
Orangey!
..cool video keep up the great content.. Thank you…
Pacific Northwest...
👍👏
I'm searching thru all of the campsites on your Patreon dropbox. 🤔
Miss that skottle
I miss Orangie... :-(
I'm surprised that camp out in Nevada in the grass along a river with a water crossing did not make this cut. What did make the cut was all nice though, I remember most of these places from their respective videos.
You still aren’t mouse proof!😂😂😂😂😂
Looked like Chloride Canyon in the Gila
Rehashed footage of Orangie is not NEW footage of Orangie OR new footage of ANYTHING.
You need a mouse hotel
Get used to have internet that rover in the shop.
🙋💕
This is the venture4wd that I miss. I would love to see more of this in the new content. It reminds me of the raw and experimental version of this channel. The new content today is too safe and predictable. This is still my favorite YT channel, and I'm hoping for more of this with the new content.
Agree with you 100 percent. Nothing ever stays the same but I do miss this sort of pure raw adventure.
I'm with you! He needs to get that Jeep back and head out on more adventures.
Yes sir great video!!
I 100% agree. I am looking forward to the Landrover Adventures
I agree 💯%
