Watching Ana go through the labor and birth of our first son, Henrique, was an incredibly humbling experience. She demonstrated an unimaginable level of strength, bravery, and resilience throughout the entire process. I am beyond proud to call her the mother of our son. I have been checking daily to see when dear Henrique was on his way. I was so happy for you to see his arrival had come. You were a warrior, Ana! Junior, you were so compassionate, empathetic and reassuring. What a team!! While there were so many unexpected twists and turns, we, as onlookers, were very anxious but we cannot even begin to imagine actually living those scary moments. However, Junio's and your complete bliss and joy at his first cry and being safe in your arms and your praise to God for his safe delivery showed that every moment endured was worth this precious gift and bundle of joy. Congratulations! The greatest love a couple can share has just entered your lives.

I cried, while I watched your video because I remembered the birth of our first daughter. I was 22. I was way overdue. I had all the complications one could have. My labour took 3 days. They didn't give me the epidural, so I was in excruciating pain for 3 days. Yes. I remember. Our daughter is 54 years old. I did it again two more times. Children are so precious.

I am crying too with tears of joy baby and Ana are healthy. I had a feeling Ana might have needed a c-section because baby was big. But thankfully an episiotomy was able to give baby room to maneuver out. God bless Enrique. He looks so gorgeous with his big eyes and pink cheeks in mom’s arms now instead of her womb. He will be able to practice his dance moves much easier! Congratulations! 🍾

I was crying with you. Henrique made a dramatic entry into this world. He’s going to be a performer like momma and daddy. Congratulations! Anna, I feel your pain. I delivered twins. Daughter weighed 5 pound and didn’t make enough room in the birth canal for her brother who weighed 7lbs 12oz. When he finally came out he was blue and not breathing. They got him stimulated and he was fine. 26 years ago and I remember like it was yesterday.

Yep, my son was 9 lbs 9 oz, 21 and 1/2". In labor for a painful forever, only to have a C-section. I was 41 years old. No matter...love my baby! I understand this experience. Ana, you were fabulous! The pitocin is not easy.Can't wait to see Henrique thriving, as I know he will.

I'm sorry to say that, but *it was a big mistake and failure from the doctors to force that lot!* Imho *they* caused this intensive care situation 😡
Baby and Ana's body were not ready. The womb was still too high up. The baby's head was not properly in the pelvis. With the medication they caused pressure and stress to the baby, the Mommy and in fact to the whole family 😢
Its not true, that it would be dangerous for a 39 year old to wait until her body is ready. Its exactly the other way round, when delivery starts naturally, the hormones make sure,
- the cervix softens,
- the baby is fit to help to deliver with pushing himself out and also
- Mommy has enough power to make it short. Even with a 10 lbs-baby. (After peridural anesthesia she does not have enough power).
And I doubt that the shoulders were to big. More do I think, the baby was stuck because he was stressed and overwhelmed and simply not ready.
And navelcord around the neck is not so comfy, but not that big problem to call another doctor and pushing daddy away.
I know these things because I've been working on a maternity ward for 40 years.
And on top, if you know temper and lifestyle of the parents, it's clear, their baby should be born in the sign of Gemini, not Taurus 😅 (btw I love Taurus 😉 fits to me)
But nevertheless, I'm so happy the young family is well in the meanwhile ❤

The birth video was scary! (Too many years of high risk OB and NICU.) I held my breath and my heart stood still when Junio was plastered to the wall praying. I knew and felt his fear and anguish. I know we cried as Ana held precious little Henrique in her arms and you both cried. God was there and watched over you all. Henrique is beautiful baby boy! Bless your beautiful family❤❤

I've literally cried from the beginning. Seeing Ana endure so much pain and Junio standing besides her the whole time. This is so overwhelming , and all that matters at the end is a healthy baby and Mommy. Just so so happy for you , guys ! ❤️❤️
Das ist leider so. Jede Frau muss bei einer Geburt diesen Schmerz ertragen. Aber genau diesen vergisst man hinterher. Mein Respekt an alle Männer die bei der Geburt dabei sind. Nur diese erkennen die Leistung und Stärke der Gebärenden.
Sie hatte doch schon sehr früh eine PDA , ich denke, da hatte so manche Frau mehr und länger Schmerzen 🤔

I started crying when Juno started crying. It almost seemed like Ana’s birth story was like mine. Very long labor(38 hrs) big baby(9lbs9.6oz) and long(22 1/2 in) having to be cut because of the shoulders, cord wrapped around neck, my epidural only lasted 3 hrs. I’m just thankful you and baby boy are fine and healthy. My daughter is 30 now and has had 2 miscarriages, so my daughter and her husband was given a kitten found on the freeway. My daughter said the kitten gives her purpose. Congratulations ❤❤❤❤

My mama was 39 als0 when she had me and ske kept teling me that she had a difficult time with me bcoz I was big. Watching Ana going through the challenge of motherhood I can now understand everythinf that mama told me when she gave birth to me. Junio is the most loving, caring and compasionate husband a woman can have. It touched me and made me cry watching him crying with Ana feeling her pain too. Should have had a c-section for sure 💯 for sure I was saying that all along shoulders were way to big and cord around neck terrible thing and had to be cut front to back . That baby could have died . !! Terrible thing hard to recovery poor Ana cut what six inches. Long wow looks like a 10 lb baby .

Praise God for your precious baby son and that both Ana and Henrique are healthy. My 16th (& probably last) grandbaby daughter is due any day and I pray for an easy delivery for my youngest daughter, a healthy grandbaby daughter who thrives, and a speedy and complete recovery for momma. 🙏🏼✝️🙏🏼
I loved hearing them speaking in their native language when he was born you can tell how overwhelmed they were and excited. Ive been checking for a week now. I cried for you Ana but you took it in stride. Your motherly instincts have been there from the beginning. He was a BIG baby you did the absolute best for. Congratulations ❤🎉❤
Thank God for a healthy baby boy!! I went through a similar induction; my baby boy was healthy, but I had a very hard time recovering from the trauma of it all. I am sharing now what I wish I knew then... that being thankful for a healthy baby did not erase the emotional and physical trauma. I really could have used some acknowledgement of that fact and some help processing all of it. I am praying for lots of grace in recovering from it all so you can all enjoy your beautiful new addition.

@@freedom4063I don't think she needed cesarean, but I do think she needed *midwifes* instead of nervous doctors, telling her dumb things like it would be dangerous for a 39 year old to wait until her baby (and body) is ready and forcing with medicine. It was a big failure from the doctors, to induct *only 2 days* after expected date.
Induction is VERY painful and causes stress to baby and as well to Mommy (and the whole family). For this incredible pain of forced labor, Mom needs peridural anesthesia and then nothing goes well anymore. Baby's heart rate went low, Mommy was weak, the doctor needed help and daddy could not welcome his son...
Imho the doctors caused this unnecessary pain and intensive care situation.
With the help of midwifes, 10 lbs, big shoulders and navelcord around the neck is not a problem ;)
Midwifes can make a delivery a very spiritual and magic experience! 😉 no need to be scared of 😉
