He didnt need every race. As a Cretorian, he could stick with humans for science and dondorians for industry. He basically is a Cretorian king who openly accepted a bunch of people who hates Cretorians and their lifestyle.
Where are the slaves? Where is the cannon fodder troops preventing raids? Why is everything spread out early game? Where are the mercenaries raiding far away lands bringing material and slaves? Where is the dungeons to increase population of main population when you raid then pardon them? Why is there lizards in your city? Remove lizards by sending them to their deaths on the battlefield while the rest of army wins the battle, massive benefits. You need slaves in your city early game, makes everything easier. Pick one food to grow crops. Not enough wells.
Slaves are disliked by most everyone and would therefore punish a multiracial city more than help. Also where the hell is this lizard hatred coming from lol.
Huh, always wondered what it would take to run a multi-species city like this. Now I know my answer. And yeah, the world map is a bit of a blind spot for me too. Just recently started up an Amevias city (decidedly NOT multi-species) for v66 beta and learned really quickly how to raise an army considering I'm sandwiched between two big players that constantly bully me for stuff. Not sure what I need to ensure I win against one of them, so I guess I'll see what happens. Anyway, good video!
Have to say I have been watching this game from a distance and lack the balls or the inclination to dive in and play this game. However watching you rearrange this guys build was a great eye opener for any n00b. Great job man. I was looking for a game to use on my new pootube channel not sure if I could pull this off though. Thanks for your insight and experience you have obviously played this for a some time. Have a great weekend man.
actually a very impressive and interesting little village, i might try to do something like this just for a challenge. seems fun but hellish in a fun way
I had Cretonians, humans, dondorians, Garthimis living and working but in segregated areas where they are specialized for thier jobs. The Tilapis are currently a bit harder to manage but i think i can stablize it.
dwarfs are always welcome in my city, maybe some tilapi as well to keep them archer-regiments filled... i don´t want lizards bugs or pigs in my city,i´m just too racist for shit like that 😄 (i would be interested in them Giants but i have no idea (yet) how to get them
@@Campernicus If you are placing stuff inside a room ctrl+scroll changes the size like Q and E does. I find it a lot easier for items that have a lot of steps in its size. EDIT: just realized I might have been misunderstood. When I said scroll I meant scroll with the scroll wheel of the mouse, not scroll the map.
I've been playing since the beggining, but man this has been enlightening, I used to just allow 1-2 races to avoid all the problems, but I feel that I will challenge myself with a all-welcome city. Congrats on 1K!!

You would need them all, which is why Garthimis are easy to please in that regard and Humans are much harder. You can probably get by with just one food type if you please them in every other regard though :)
Watching a grown up man unironically malding over multiracial pacifist farming village is so Songs of Syx I love it 😂
It was described as a mess and I underestimated it 🫠

"I don't recommend multiracial cities." That's one for the history books.
Hey, I did say not recommended for beginners...right?
Does this count as a 1k special?
YOOOOOOOOOOOO CONGRATS
congrats bro !
No you have to do a special EP. Sorry I don't make the rules.

I like the in universe story of a king razing a town because of how mad he is and then going "oh no everything is shit now, maybe I shouldn't have"

Make friends with one and fight the other, so you don't fight on two fronts :)

Cheers mate, you may as well give it a go though, it has a free demo :)
@@OshanMan Yeah I did see that. Still a bit dubious tbh lol I have no balls muhahaha.

I find it super funny when one race likes another but one doesn’t like the other back what does that even mean gameplay wise
it means the guys that don't like the others are likely to commit crimes against them but the people that like others won't, if that makes sense.

I wonder if Callum knows about ctrl scrolling.
If my experience is any indication, probably not since it took me several hundred hours to realise its existence 😅
I'm holding ctrl and scrolling and it isn't doing anything different. What am i missing? 😥
@@Campernicus I'm going to assume it's the slow camera pan thing which you can check here:

You did a lot of work there and you deserve more viewers:) good job and great video. I Learned a ton of stuff!
No worries mate, best of luck with your cities :)

A doubt I always had. To satisfy the food preferences completely, do we need all different preferential foods or just one of them is enough?
