Nice build! Most people don’t seem to realize the Venge is FASTER than the Tarmac SL7. Specialized said it - it’s more aero, which means faster on all but the steepest climbs. Most climbs also have descents, in which it’s been proven that aero wins over small weight gains.

Does specialized still manufacture the “Venge” model? I thought they were discontinuing it in favor of the Tarmac SL7?

Is there any specific reason to why you switch workstand? It would seem that having the bike higher up would be is easier to work on the drivetrain.

I am an official Enve dealer, I am the one that sells them to "ordinary people" :)
Wot? No Chris King hubs? Have you gone off them.
The customer chose these wheels to fit the budget. A good choice, considering that the hubs alone would have cost almost the price of this complete wheelset.

Nice video, as always👍🏼 what is your opinion about the DT Swiss ARC 1100? I’m talking about the updated version (180 hub with ceramic bearings) which they released this year.
DT wheels are quite unremarkable to be honest.

@@TorbenSta I think they're nice, they've done the wind-tunnel testing with swiss-side, so I'm sure they're very aero, but the inner rim width is less than most new wheels, so they're a more traditional wheel and not the lightest necessarily, but a solid and heavily tested wheel that will be very reliable and will roll very well. DT swiss tend to be less on the specs but more on the actual ride and durability. They feel lighter than they weigh typically. I don't have experience with this rim, but other wheels that is my experience.

What are all the di2 wires and components used? I'm building a venge.

Hi Rony. I recently got a nice SL7 Pro and I wanted to make it a bit lighter from time to time. Do you know a brand which makes lighter front garmin mounts or thruaxles for the SL7? I know it does not save much but I also like to put new stuff on my bike from time to time.
CarbonWorks make lightweight mounts and Carbon-Ti for the thru axles. Alterntively you can get the Aethos thru axles.
Hi Ronald , do you think its possible to use SL7 stem on 2020 Venge frame with Aerofly 2 handle bar ? Unfortunateky not able to find a Venge Stem. I need 120mm / 6 deg. Appreciate ure take on it. Thanks.

Pity such an amazing frame and set of wheels finishing it off with Dura-Ace would have made it spot on but maybe funds were simply not there... Sick build, either way, ride safe!
