    I love to improvise, and the dulcimer lends itself well to improv. On a day when my brain won’t focus on writing songs, I just improvise. It’s so relaxing! And a new song idea may pop up. Thank you for this video - it’s really helpful! Oh, and tea rocks. I’m a tea-o-holic 😊

    I love dulcimer diary (singular). Love to listen to you play. I'm learning my first instrument ( the dulcimer). It kinda surprised me when you said you practiced improvising, but it makes sense. Hope I get to meet you some day. Thanks

    I keep plenty of Coffee and Whiskey on hand. LOL But for coffee I keep 5-10 different types and rotate them in and out. Not much of a tea guy, but the Mrs. likes tea. Great playing as usual Stephen. Cheers.

    Here is a request. I would. Like to see how to change strings so they look smooth and don’t pop off peg when starting. Really enjoy your playing and teaching. I finally found a teacher i understand. I like playing by ear. Learned a lot from your mountaindulcimeratoz course. Thanks

    There's an herb shop I go to and I enjoy making my own blends of tea from what they have there. Do you just drink green tea by itself or have you ever tried mixing it with other herbs? If so, what else do you like in your tea? I dehydrate citrus and sometimes use lavender in mine.

      I’m not against having other things being there, but I do tend to like tasting all the different treatments of camellia sinensis. When you get all that other stuff in there, it seems ti mask the more subtle flavors achieved by tea masters in Japan, China and Taiwan. Putting a strong flavor like licorice root desensitize me and kind of makes everything taste the same. I do think it taste good but I just find myself drawn to the more traditional side of this. I go through phases though.
