I was looking forward to watching your reaction, but…god, after less than a minute, your “….squirrel!” approach to editing killed my interest. The constant interruptions make it impossible to follow either the movie or your actual response to it. I mean, that's the whole point? Horror concepts make you fear things, and thriller concepts keep you in intense suspense. Combine both and you will get the nastiest jumpscares, just like how the movie Smile had perfectly executed. I am a loyal fan of horror, but sometimes it gets so predictable. I am forever atrue thriller fan though, I love that stuff, especially the psychological premises. I live for horror overall, and almost all of them don't scare me, because they don't trigger my fear system, and they all actually make me laugh out loud - some make me yawn, and only a few, like Smile, actually made me crap my pants. Just to show you, I am on the opposite end of the horror spectrum in contrast to you, and that is okay, there's no judgements here. Much love to you, and I hope that you at least are intrigued by regular action movies - "Top Gun: Maverick" is the best!
