For the bearer and honored one, a better way to get the standless kill is to use whatever spec, get both of them to really low hp, and then agro the curse npcs and let them kill you so you can respawn/switch to standless without having the boss despawn
There's a method for the slayer quests, get the boss to almost one shot. Then get your friend to hit the boss, that will get the boss aggroed to him. Then switch to standless and kill the boss, that way the boss won't despawn. Rinse and repeat for the rest of the slayer bosses
I was fighting Cid on the second day the Update came out inside of the Volcano, Cid used "Highest" on me in glitched in the ceiling so i was able to spam Domain expansion and kill him eventually.
If your fighting CID reccomend going to the 2nd boss spawner the one near floating village and kill him with a friend thats what me and my brother did and he didnt despawn or get flinged and i recommend to use dawn, reaper or chronos and dont use any grab skills on him (and additional if you didnt get the slime energy for cid that means you didnt accept the killshadow quest)😊
Question: when you do spawn cid and you didn't kill him. Will you still get the slime even tho you didn't do most of the damage? Or the other player get it.
Pro tip, Use a Piercing Trait Ope spec, and use MES on a boos. Piercing allows you to do percent damage and mes does extra percent damage, u can do around 2000 dmg per click with the heart in your hands.
when the cid boss came back from being buggy, i did the quest, killed wb for bisento, spawned cid, and got it and in that same day got asc 15 and spiritual on it. atomic takes 50 heat and everything else takes under 50 heat lmao😭
yall,they updated how to obtain cid u have to do all the quest but,do not spawn cid u have to find a npc called dr burger and he gives a quest,that quest is kil cid and when u complete it he gives the slime energy
I wasted 2 days because of White Beard and 10 specs for 2 cursed gems (because i didnt pick up the quest with Burg) and the quest just bugged. Now i have a 100% concluded quest, but its useless because the Burg man want me to kill Cid (that i already killed).
That happened to me aswell I got the Bur quest then I went to spawn him I spawned him and killed him I checked my quest to make sure it said 1/1 for killing cid and it did I went back to Bur and he said "Have you slain Shadow yet???"

The worst of all is that in the phase to get the cursed gemstone you have to be very careful with the bugs in that mission when sacrificing specs because of a bug when I wanted to sacrifice Locke I also deleted a temporary dawn and a dragon knight true damage what hurt me the most was the loss of dawn that I had to raise it to 37 levels to be able to get temporary seriously this update has been a disaster the worst thing is that the devs do not want to take responsibility for the losses that many players have had

Your lucky you could even get to kill cid when I tried he glitched himself under the map and it took me hours work like geting rid of stuff is hard I hope if I do the quest and get rid of what I can cid will be worth it and now white beard has 100k Hp and is lvl 400 now good job tho

Ok so, there’s also a quest you can get that grants rewards for killing shadow along side the actual shadow quest. I did not know that by picking them both up that cid would not drop his slime automatically, like he would if you only grab the main quest,but instead the other npc would hold onto the slime until you talk to them. I went through the stages of grief before I randomly talked to him and he gave me the slime.
The boss part the easiest part of the quest, the whitebeard part just dumb luck, the gems part is just resource gathering. Im still waiting for compensation for my cid despawning
I accept burger's quest and I go to public server with my friend and we saw a person fighting cid so my friend keep killing the person and I kill cid and somehow when i talk to burger guy again he gave me the slime. So i got free shadow without doing any quest.
Hell nah this cid quest was TRULY NIGHTMARE. The most easy part was killing all bosses on standless (i killed them ONLY on standless) and the most hardest is BISENTO. I killed whitebeard like 11-12 times and NO bisento. i traded Xeno for it........ But Cid ability is truly goat! (uhh yeah and Cid boss is nigthmare too especually second phase)

standless was easy, 100 prisoners was also easy, getting bisento took me 7 tries which I soloed whitebeard twice once with gojo and once with reaper, reaper made it take 30 min solo while gojo took and hour, and now i have to wait for xeno in the banner and need to kill 100 players with anubis to get another reaper to sacrifice, biggest pain is patience for specs to sacrifice and luck for bisento
Whats next get bisento and Cursed gemstone sacrifice ope ope no mi, Mero mero no mi, Suna suna no mi, Fight like every npc in the game and fight every boss using standless for luffy
I got to the phase 4 boss fight and then used domain expansion on Cid. He was almost dead but then he glitched and fell out of the map. Now I will have to restart the quest even though I used over half my legendary specs and items on it that took months of time to get. I'm not playing AUT anymore but can someone please report this to the devs so it gets fixed.
imo there is no way this guy is meta for farming the knockback his moves do he is definitly a goated pvp spec and a really fun time and maybe good for farming in the right hands
