This will hit every single farm in the UK on their death and force them to sell land. The cynic in me things its just a cheap way for Rayner to get land to build her 1.6m houses!

That's also full of viruses and medication. It is also not produced in the amounts required for fertilisation. Although untreated sludge can be used, much of it is treated, pasturisation, and so on. Using it is a very complex process, but it is vital for the industry.
Don't forget food waste and green waste ultimately gets spread on agricultural land and these recycling plants are bursting at the seams. Wouldn't take long to bring the system to a halt.

How much PFAS & other plastics related chemicals is in that sludge? In a SW state in the USA a farmer used something similar and animals on a neighboring Farm all died. The Soil and Water of the cattle and horse farm was poisonous from PFAS....
