Beware! You’re playing with fire when you agree with this kind of “teaching.” Be a Berean with this and every “teacher!” (Acts 17:11)
- 6:28 He says, “the Law of Moses in contrast to the New Covenant in Christ’s blood” and he gives a complete misinterpretation of Heb. 7:12 - “there is also a change of the Law.” This “teacher” believes that God’s Law as given in the Old Testament is done away with and gone!
YET NOTICE the context: The only change in the Law mentioned in Heb. 7 is because THE High Priest had to able to offer HIMSELF as the sacrifice, officiating on our behalf although He is not of Levi. Why couldn’t the Levitical priests offer themselves? Because nothing unclean could be given as an offering to God. Remember “the life is in the blood.” God looked upon the life of the S/sacrifice - its purity and innocence. And since He wasn’t of Levi, Yeshua “has become a priest not on the basis of a regulation as to his ancestry but on the basis of the power of an indestructible life.” Heb. 7:16 Giving His life CONFIRMS the Law (which we keep because we ARE saved - not in order to BE saved). Here’s the proof in Messiah’s own words:
- Matt. 5:17-19 Yeshua even mentions the prophets, so you know He’s speaking of OT Scripture.
- Matt. 7:21-23 (These are people who call themselves believers and do more than warm the pews, yet our Messiah says He never knew them. If you’re not keeping His Law, you’re a stranger to Him.)
Doesn’t Jeremiah say the Law will be changed/done away with? NO - see 31:33 “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts,” and Ezek. 36:26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.
So, THE LAW DOESN’T CHANGE - WE DO! It will become our nature (goodbye yetzer ha ra)!
Are we in the New Testament/Covenant yet? No! See:
- Heb. 7:22 Written AFTER His death; we’re still under the “obsolete & aging...”
-2 Cor. 3:7-end See the word “WILL” in v. 8, and “are being” in v. 18
- Rom. 8:22-25 “...we WAIT…” - fits perfectly with the next passage...
- Heb. 10:14 “...those who ARE BEING made holy” - we’re in process, not there yet.
- Heb. 9:28 “...a second time… to those who ARE WAITING for Him”
- Heb. 11:39 Yet to come!
- Heb. 12:28 “...since we ARE RECEIVING a kingdom…” Notice none of these passages say we’re in the New Testament/Covenant yet, but are in the process of receiving it.
I’m especially sorry for those who say they are no longer required to keep the seventh day holy. They have excommunicated themselves from participation in that great millennial Shabbat which is soon coming. See John 14:1-3 and Rev. 20:4-5
You don’t want to keep the Law? It’s inconvenient? Wouldn’t this put you in the same category as the man of lawlessness?
Remember Yeshua’s words, “I will tell them, ‘I never knew you! Away from Me, you lawless ones!”

Great episode on Yom Kippur. It's good to know about Jewish festivals and customs, especially when you don't know or very little about it. The shirts look great. I want to take the time to say thankyou for all the work that you both do in bringing these episodes to me. These folks appear to be Israeli Christians, however I am not at all sure they are what you call "Messianic Jews." Rhoda has an Arabic accent and Sergio seems to have a Russian accent.
@@suzis5767 Rhoda is Arabic and I do believe he is Jewish. I watched an interview with them on someone's podcast. I THINK he is a Messianic Jew, but I know for certain she is Arabic and grew up in Nazareth.

THANK YOU for the Link to pastor Charlie’s sermon on the feasts. Comply resonates with my reading of the OT and NT and completely furthers my understanding of Scripture and that Christ wiped out Moses law with his blood but yes the commandments are said by Jesus so don’t get nervous 😁🙌🏽. It’s amazing how “The Lords 3 Feasts were changed from the Lords to Israel’s to nullify Christ’s death on the cross ONCE for all our sins! Leviticus is not a easy read and I thank God for giving us Christians the Holy Spirit after Jesus was glorified as he is the best teacher we have! This sermon was like a light bulb going off in my heart with affirmation from the Holy Spirit confirming PC teaching that “Gods” 3 feasts were/is obsolete as were are in the new covenant of Jesus a Christ our Lord and savior! Amazing thank you and I Thank the Lord for this clear understanding! 🙏💖🙌🏽
