- Seamus Begley & Tim Edey perform at the Frankie Kennedy Winter School at the Dunlewey Centre in Donegal in December 2010. An instrumental intro leads to Séamus' distinctive delivery of 'Maidin Luan Cincíse'. This, in turn, is followed by the 'Tomáisín a' Rí' set. The concert was webcast live on www.LiveTrad.com.
The switch between the 1st and 2nd tune is pure magic! Such great musicians!

Brilliant!!
Seamus Begley has created his amazing sound, I like very much. Steve Cooney is a great guitar player, but it is so interesting to see here Tim Edey playing so intuitive with a huge variety and dynamics here, amazing!
R.I.P ☘️ the polka wil never end ☘️
SEamus and Tim amazing so much Go Halainn topsssss
Just wonderful!
you have to love this
I listened last night on RTE radio to the possibly controversial musings of Sean O'Riada circa 1962 about the iniquities of the accordion in Irish music at that time. If he were alive today I have no doubt he would be very approving of how the accordion, especially in the hands of Seamus IS now an extension of the voice and how it is now such an integral part of Irish music, and the sublime guitar playing of Tim Edey. Just beautiful
The fife has been outlawed completely since the 60s as a valid instrument in irish music due political bias yet lots of early recordings have fifes instead of tin whistles.
Really enjoyed that!!
The Best
Brilliant!
What does Seamus say at the start: "Don't tell me I have to sing in this fecking key"?
hahaha really sounds like it
does anyone anywhere have the lyrics to this beautiful air?
He could sing in a door key.... rip😢
Mo cheol sibh, lads. Nach breá uaibh é.
