I like the way that the guitarists share their talent equally trading off on solos, and backing one another ryhmically in a very melodic way with the lead vocals of Alissa White-Gluz this is definitely a band that is getting somewhere and they are fun to watch, like her scream and the face she makes at 2:38!

The biggest difference between Alissa and Angela for me, is that Alissa is 'beautiful girl'-hot, while Angela had/has a more 'badass metal chick'-hot look.
Vocal-wise I think they are more or less identical.
As a metal singer, I thing this new chick rules a bit more his voice. Angela was forcing a bit to much in my opinion, and I heard it. If I had to choose, I go for Alissa.
Alissa have so much makeup on face that she is probably fuggly without it. Even worst butterface girl with makeup can look at least nice.

Alissa has a much wider vocal range, it's different.

She just didn't want to sing any more, so they got someone else, shes still managing them, and ffs she's married to Michael Amott. She left of her own free will, so they got someone else. I agree with you. Angela was already saying how this would be a different album than Khaos Legions, then she announces that she would leave with Alissa already as the new singer. The next day, The Agonist shown their new singer. The timing of everything was very precise, so I believe that this was on the works for a long time and they just made it public now. Honestly, this way is much better than suffering for months on the doubt of a new singer, whether the replacement will be good enough and stuff. This is how you show professionalism, people!

Alan Sun , of course they are going to sound somewhat different but Alissa has got the same screaming manner and she is the closest they could get to Angela. It's pretty obvious they didn't want to change their sound much because of the new singer.
