I used to wear hair extentions all the time but now with your tutorials with short hair, now I can rock my short hair thank you girl you are amazing ! love you ❤
Topsy tail hack - drinking straw with a length of string looped through I used mine all the time in the 90s - but to flip a pony up, so it fountains out
When the topsy twist came out years ago, my dad made one for me with a zip tie. Worked just as well but for pennies! I haven't done this in a while but going to try it this weekend!
I love how you make them work, and do it so effortlessly. I follow every instruction, but a 2 min hairstyle can still set me back a good 30 mins 😂😂 Some ppl have the knack, some don't, I clearly don't 😔 Thanks for these ideas, I will be trying them. 👍
Thank you for trying out some of these gadgets, which I'm a sucker for but then I never really try too hard to make them work. I guess I'm easily discouraged with my hair being shorter. But you're not. You plunge ahead with confidence, even smiling along the way. Love that about you. Thanks, again.
Love your videos! It's hard to find short hair tutorials and you're always bringing something new, cute and easy. I like that you showed other ways to use products meant for long hair but can still be used with short hair!
The bungee cord one was used incorrectly. I love it, and I have short hair. You make individual ponytails, curl the hair or make mini messy buns, the hook the band together. It make your updo look bigger by covering more area.
With the topsy tail, when I have any loose hairs hanging out my braid, I use the topsy tail to pull the loose hair through it. Saves my LIFE! No more loose hairs and you don't have to fuck up your braid to get the hairs back again.
Love what you figured out with the little bun makers! I'm so bad at doing french twists but I think they're so classy and simple. I can't wait to try my bun maker for this!
Your hairstyles are da best! This summer i donated my hair to the women with cancer and my hair was really short and i searched hairstyles for short hair and i came across with the BEST !!Love you
I love your channel, just discovered it within the past couple weeks. Not only am I learning how to make some cute styles (our hair is pretty much the same in length, color and texture, it appears), but am having fun playing "hairstylist" with my sweet little granddaughter (5 years old). You're adorable, creative, and so full of useful, awesome, friendly info. I just ordered a bag of cheap hair "tools" on Amazon (no instructions, $7.99 on Amazon) and you've given me some much-needed education on some of them, thank you for that!
Some hairstyle videos seem to be more about the stylist and sort of "showing off", like bringing people to themselves. I can tell that you are doing yours to help others, to bring yourself to us, like a friendly gift, and also to have fun. Thanks for keepin' it real Milana!
You are amazing! You make hairstyling look so easy, and you have inspired me to get out of my hair routine and spice it up. Love your recommendations on products you save us time and money. Truly fun to watch, never boring! Keep up the great work.
I love that even if I can't afford the styling told and accessories that you review, your videos still give me ideas!!! I'm going to make a wrap up from fabric, and pipe cleaners!! I still have the today tail I made out of wire and electrical tape two years ago!!!!
I just found your channel and your videos are so helpful, thank you! Should've probably left this comment on a more recent video. But this video is most relevant to a current situation. 11 years ago I had longer hair but I didn't have a Topsy tail tool because I must've thrown the one I bought in the early 90s away. Maybe I'm just hopeless, but it took me over 10 mins. just to pull my ponytail through with my fingers and I was all sweat and tears (literally crying in frustration) by the time I had to leave for the party - my father in-law's 75th bday. So I bought a Topsy tail tool yesterday because I've got some events coming up, my hair is quite smooth and my scalp is too hypersensitive for most styling products. My hair is longer than what your hair length was here - for now. I'm going for a shoulder length bob in Sept.
Love all your tutorials!!! Found your channel because I just recently went to short hair for the 1st time in my life and regret it almost immediately because I could not style it like I did my long hair and you have given my so many options/inspirations! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!!!!
+MooMoosLife right?! It's pretty amazing and it stays in all day since we rolled it and then secured with bobby pins. Definitely will be using that again!
even though i don't have short hair anymore, I love watching your videos. they inspire me to be more creative. :) the space buns are my fave :) sending love from Slovakia ;)
You make the best hair tutorials on youtube, I'm not exaggarating. You're so natural on camera and the videos are professionally shot and edited. I've gotten my husband more interested in hair stuff too after watching these with sound! So happy I found your channel - spent hours here already. :) Please never change! Regards from Finland
I have a similar product to the topsy tail and I use it to tuck bits of hair back into braids if they've fallen out (I poke it through the braid and pull the piece of hair through). So handy!!
I love the French twist with the slit bun roller and the other twist that you did with it. . I think it looks really good and I think I might buy one 😊
I like the vintage twist and the bunmaker's second option, the upwards twist. Really pretty. My medium length hair is so slippery, though - even if I dirty it up with product. Liked the three tipsy tails, too. Thanks so much. You make videos - I'll watch. 😊 and try.
Girl, I have waist-length hair, and I still love watching your videos. You are such a nice person and very entertaining, I have learnt some tips with you too. Thanks for making these videos !!
I like the vids. I didn’t know it was reviews. The title of the video came up when looking for short hair style up dos. It was informative and easy to follow.
Thank you for trying the Pony Connect. I was going to buy one but now that I see it's a fail, I'll pass! Kudos for giving me new ideas for that flat bun twist thing!
Thanks for the tips; I am watching this a bit late so I will have to check out your belated new hair colour and do :) Love your enthusiasm on your videos - I have watched a couple so far.
Love the "edwardian roll" looking style! The topsy tailer - save your money... I bought a cheap $1 french ponytailer (same thing but there's a fair few different names) on ebay about 18 months ago and between myself & my sister, it's still going strong, and it must've been used a couple of hundred times by now.
lol u saved my life with that tool from about 10th minute, I always rolled my hair and just pinned them with a ton of bobby pins and it of course got destroyed very easily, but even though I make this hair style very often to my work just bc it looks so classy and polished with incorporated bangs and it takes a very little amount of the valuable morning time :D
With a topsy tale you can also make a ponytale and wrap a little section around. You don't need bobbypins to fix it. Just pull your section throgh your elastic.
Milabu Omg I am so happy you answerd me. I didn't think so. I love your Videos, they're amazing. You are a so creative, sympatic, nice and absoloutly lovely person. Your ideas are incredible.
First, can't wait to see your new color & 'do. Not that your current color & 'do aren't adorable! ❤ Secondly, you can make your own topsy-tail. Take a flexible wire hanger, cut the "hanger" part with wire cutters. Bend the wire into the shape of a topsy-tail. Use either electrical tape or Guerilla tape to secure it and make the handle easy to go through the hair. I've made one... I need to make a smaller one. It's a neat hack that I found works with my thick hair.
You can totally take the sponge wand with the slit in the middle and do a French twist, candy cane twist, or an upside down candy cane twist. Along with other styles I can't remember...I got a similar item when I was pregnant with my son (he's 22 now lol I needed to put my really long hair up fast in the southern heat). By bending the ends in different ways you can create different looks. Thankfully my set came with two sizes of wands one for shorter hair one for longer hair. As I have much shorter hair now I no longer have the wands or remember what brand they were....too bad the booklet they came with had a bunch of styles in it.
Really appreciate you making these videos for us! I purchases a couple of the items you have shown, that I would not have tried. Thx so much. Keep 'em coming, really appreciate your cute personality! :)
+Elle Mae that's so sweet of you because I love making videos for my loves! You guys are my world ❤ Some of these hair accessories are really genius and save a lot of time and energy for us girls in the mornings!
I have never really been one for beauty/hair tutorials (I'm really not very girly haha!), but I love your videos since they are geared more towards shorter hair! Love to watch them, but not had chance to try any out yet. Soon though! X
I absolutely love her. I ran across Milabu by accident and I'm so happy I did. She has a wonderful personality and great since of humor. Her and her husband are such a perfect pair. I enjoy when they're going thru their mail and how positive they even look on their haters. We in North Carolina 💖 you both!
Hi, Mali. Your vlogs really ROCKS. Love them. I think that you can use THE WRAP UP instead VINTAGE BIG PONYTAILER kit... I'll be glad to see it in your next video 📹 Best wishes 🤗😇😁💃
your short hair videos always make me so happy because it's so rare to see some cute, different short hairstyles!! :) (ps can we swap accents, take my boring Australian one in exchange for yours pls)
another fantastic video... ohhh can't wait to see your new hair colour, looking forward for that video. Most youtube uploads come up on my notifications but yours is one that I have to watch straight away I LOVE THEM!! 😆💇👈
Milabu obviously we are all going to want to see how it turns out but it's totally up to you, if you feel that you want to film it or leave it as a surprise. personally I'd love to see the process just in case I want to go the same colour lol. Slightly random question: I follow you on intagram exactly how many pairs of shoes and sandals do you own lol... I do love my sandals too 👠👡👢
Milana, you just sold me on that beach waver wrap up thing. I love the low sort of updo you created with that. However, my absolute favorite part of this video was hearing you trash talk Conair on their cheap topsy turvy thing. Hahahaha. Made me laugh out loud.
+ROSSIGRL584 oh nice! I think the best part it's so ridiculously fast and easy! Hahaha I usually never trash talk any brand because they all have their really great products, but the topsy tail broke on the third try! That's horrible quality haha it had to be said lol 😂
I used to wear hair extentions all the time but now with your tutorials with short hair, now I can rock my short hair thank you girl you are amazing ! love you ❤
+Shannon G aww that's so awesome! Love you too girl!
i use the topsy tail to hide my elastic with the hair i pull through my normal ponytail, it's brilliant & without any pins
Topsy tail hack - drinking straw with a length of string looped through
I used mine all the time in the 90s - but to flip a pony up, so it fountains out
When the topsy twist came out years ago, my dad made one for me with a zip tie. Worked just as well but for pennies! I haven't done this in a while but going to try it this weekend!
Best hack ever! Saved me money and time. Updos are hard with my disabilities and short, thin hair. Thanks. 👍🏼
I love how you make them work, and do it so effortlessly.
I follow every instruction, but a 2 min hairstyle can still set me back a good 30 mins 😂😂
Some ppl have the knack, some don't, I clearly don't 😔
Thanks for these ideas, I will be trying them. 👍
haha just watch the tutorial a couple of times and get the hang out it overall and then do your own rendition :)
Thank you for trying out some of these gadgets, which I'm a sucker for but then I never really try too hard to make them work. I guess I'm easily discouraged with my hair being shorter. But you're not. You plunge ahead with confidence, even smiling along the way. Love that about you. Thanks, again.

Thank you so much!! You're so sweet.
WE need more hair accessories and tools for short hair :)
The bungee cord one was used incorrectly. I love it, and I have short hair. You make individual ponytails, curl the hair or make mini messy buns, the hook the band together. It make your updo look bigger by covering more area.
Topsy tail tool is amazing and gives a sleeker smoother look. This is a must in my house especially for my little ones
I simply love how you used the Wrap up tool. Both styles looked soooo pretty ❤ can't wait to see the new cut and colour 😘
Ps do you ever use headscarves or bandanas? I'd love to see ways to style them with shorter hair. Thank you 😘
Dean Road She does have a video from some months back on how to use a scarf and bandana on short hair. It looked pretty cute.
Golden Carter thank you so much for letting me know 😘
With the topsy tail, when I have any loose hairs hanging out my braid, I use the topsy tail to pull the loose hair through it. Saves my LIFE! No more loose hairs and you don't have to fuck up your braid to get the hairs back again.

:) Glad you liked it!

Yes!! I just love your personality so much and even though my hair isn't short, I get a lot of hair inspiration from you 💁🏼❤️
Nikki Lyn same! I often use her tipps on my long hair and it works really well 😃
You are amazing! You make hairstyling look so easy, and you have inspired me to get out of my hair routine and spice it up. Love your recommendations on products you save us time and money. Truly fun to watch, never boring! Keep up the great work.
My favs were the swirl bun and vintage twist. Ur hair looks so cute up in French twist, I love it. Cant wait to see ur new hair color. Im excited!
I love that even if I can't afford the styling told and accessories that you review, your videos still give me ideas!!! I'm going to make a wrap up from fabric, and pipe cleaners!! I still have the today tail I made out of wire and electrical tape two years ago!!!!
I don't know that I've ever been this excited for someone else to get a hair cut and color. I can't wait to see it! Please post the process. :)

Aw I know how you feel! So glad you are inspired to do something with your shorter hair :)
wow I loved that "hack for the bun maker " it made your twist sooo full!
+MooMoosLife right?! It's pretty amazing and it stays in all day since we rolled it and then secured with bobby pins. Definitely will be using that again!
I don't know what I would do with my short hair without you!
+Alyssa Lawrence aww! Glad you like my style and ideas lol
i love you so much. I recently cut my hair. your the only person from whom i have learnt most of the hairstyles
That makes me so happy!!! I love you too!
I just got all of my hair cut off and wasn't sure if loved it, then I came across this girl and these videos and I love her and my new hair cut.
I just found your utube channel. I love it. So far your the only one that shows how to do short hair styles.
even though i don't have short hair anymore, I love watching your videos. they inspire me to be more creative. :) the space buns are my fave :) sending love from Slovakia ;)
Majority of my hairstyles are even easier for people with longer hair to achieve :) Love!
I used to have a Topsy Tail...I loved it! Need to get another one to do a double & triple ponytail look
I got the wrap up took as a gift and pretty pleased with what you showed me and how its works! Thanks!
Love this video! My mom used to make the "topsy tail" when my sister and I were younger with a cable tie which would probably not break as easily.
+ChristinaMoore that's amazing!!! Love all the hacks you guys are suggesting to do for a topsy tail :)
I am about to try a French twist with that spongy slitted bun maker. Thank you!
What ever you have done with your hair will still look amazing
aww thank you! You're so sweet
Girl I am so excited to see your new hair!! You should do a hair vlog and take us to the salon with you. I love watching those!
That's what I was thinking!!! :)

+Maria Harteva wow thank you for your sweet compliment! Wow! I really appreciate you!
+Maria Harteva haha my hubby is the same, he is always giving me ideas on what we should try next lol
I am super excited to see you in a different hair color!
I have a similar product to the topsy tail and I use it to tuck bits of hair back into braids if they've fallen out (I poke it through the braid and pull the piece of hair through). So handy!!
Thank you ! you're amazing and have been so helpful since I chopped my hair off - I haven't known what to do until I found you! Lol
I love the French twist with the slit bun roller and the other twist that you did with it. . I think it looks really good and I think I might buy one 😊
This is so helpful, thanks a lot! Want to cut my hair shorter again so am a little less anxious now haha ;)
+Winnie L haha that's awesome!
Hey! When I was a kid, my mom made one of those topsy tail things with an old clothes hanger! Works great and lasts forever! 😉
I like the vintage twist and the bunmaker's second option, the upwards twist. Really pretty. My medium length hair is so slippery, though - even if I dirty it up with product. Liked the three tipsy tails, too. Thanks so much. You make videos - I'll watch. 😊 and try.
+kayekog the wrap up is pretty amazing - definitely can come up with a lot of different styles!
so excited to see your hair!! please do a vlog style video of your appointment!
I never did buns with those always french twist helped I used to have thick hair

you are incredible!! I really appreciate your support
I like the vids. I didn’t know it was reviews. The title of the video came up when looking for short hair style up dos. It was informative and easy to follow.
I love how you're getting more and more confident with every video that you film
Aw thank you!
I love the mini topsy tail for making more intricate braid styles.
You could use a small Topsy Tail tool to thread hair sections through the braid in your faux waterfall styles!
I like how you made the first one work. I like it!
I love the look you created with the topsy tail!
I have tired a few of your hair styles, and I always get compliments XD thx Milabu, and I love all your vids.
Thank you for trying the Pony Connect. I was going to buy one but now that I see it's a fail, I'll pass! Kudos for giving me new ideas for that flat bun twist thing!
I LOVE , LOVE, LOVE Malibu .. I am always watching your videos.
Thanks for the tips; I am watching this a bit late so I will have to check out your belated new hair colour and do :) Love your enthusiasm on your videos - I have watched a couple so far.
I love 'bandette comb' . It works on my shorter curly hair and on my daughter's long hair.
Love this. Good to know what tools ACTUALLY work. Thanks!
The Vintage Twist looked great! It reminds me so much of Buffy The Vampire Slayer lol she wore her hair like that a lot.
The purple topsy your using i have the same one and used the same for the past 3 years no problem and me and my kids have extremely thick hair
Can't wait to see your new hair color!! Every time I watch your videos I'm thinking about cutting my hair 😂 must resist the urge to cut it🙈

Milabu we love you too!!! 😊
I Love Your Videos, You've Helped Me For The Last 2 Weeks & I've Been Getting Nothing But Compliments 😇 Thank You, I Love You 💗
You could try slipping the large elastics out of the last one and swapping them out for smaller ones?
lol u saved my life with that tool from about 10th minute, I always rolled my hair and just pinned them with a ton of bobby pins and it of course got destroyed very easily, but even though I make this hair style very often to my work just bc it looks so classy and polished with incorporated bangs and it takes a very little amount of the valuable morning time :D
I love this video! I just got my hair cut short and I love these styles!
KatieKat me tooo
honestly you are the only youtuber that i enjoy her videos!
Awww that's very sweet of you! Thank you so much
exited to see what the new hair style will look like 😄
Me too!!! :)
I have hot my topsy tail tool for about 15 years and it still works amazingly! But mine is but Scunci.
I have watched every video of yours and still end up with my same short messy hair ...Lol ... great video as always .!
so happy I found your page! first time having short hair and needed something to do with it, thanks! lol
OMG I had the Topsy Tail a million years ago! Loved it!!
With a topsy tale you can also make a ponytale and wrap a little section around.
You don't need bobbypins to fix it. Just pull your section throgh your elastic.
+Your cooking palace yes!!! I love that hack so cool! Did not even know that! I can now save my mini bobby pins 😂
Milabu Omg I am so happy you answerd me. I didn't think so.
I love your Videos, they're amazing. You are a so creative, sympatic, nice and absoloutly lovely person. Your ideas are incredible.
Your videos convinced to finally cut my hair short!
Aww that's exciting! Did you already cut it or still in the future?
Milabu I just cut a few days ago. I've had hair down to my waist since I was a little kid. It's a huge change 😊
First, can't wait to see your new color & 'do. Not that your current color & 'do aren't adorable! ❤
Secondly, you can make your own topsy-tail.
+April Evans hah me too!! I'm sitting right getting it down while replying to you :) that's an amazing hack for the topsy tail tool!
Milabu I'd seen it on here, I can't remember where. So, I had to try it. It works. I'll never buy one ever again. ❤
You're cute and funny! Thanks for this video. I have short hair too.. perhaps i need to grow my hair a bit more to use some of these.
As I have much shorter hair now I no longer have the wands or remember what brand they were....too bad the booklet they came with had a bunch of styles in it.
Can't wait to try the wrap up!
+TheVazb I think you'll really enjoy it
