    If I want to know early if I have a Male or female, I take a cutting, root it, plant it, and then bring it indoors under 12/12. In about 2 weeks from taking the cutting, it's obvious which one I have.

    This could also be great to show people that in the northern hemisphere the cannabis plants flower when the days get around 14 hours in august, so doing 12 hour flowering indoors is actually sacrificing lots of yield. Because we don't see 12 hours of light until mid October when it is cosecha time.

    What's up guys.... I dig the videos! I was hoping you could do a video on breeding/cross pollination. I have a mediocre outdoor grow which you can see on my channel, I would like to create my own strain but I wonly want to do a couple of the bottom branches so I can still get a decent yield off the rest of the plant. I am unsure of when to begin the process and how to know when the process is complete. Any info you can give would be appreciated.

    How can you tell if your plants, which I believed were beginning the flowering stage, are just having a "last minute growth spurt" or are reverting back to vegetation? What's the difference? AND, is it "good" or "bad" if they revert to veg.? Should I just Depo them? I like "controlling" their environment, it takes the guess work out, don't you agree? I have green houses, but have a "black out" cover available that I built inside which worked very well with our last harvest.

      We don't top our plants at all. Instead we do a specific technique of bending the main branch at a 45 degree angle facing North. You can see more info on that on this video - ua-cam.com/video/fxGfxlb6QHk/v-deo.html .

    I hear some people talking about “flipping”. And it sounds like they are making the plant flower, doesn’t the plant just flower when it’s ready. Also where can I find a simple formula for a good soil. I’m in one gallon pots and need to move to bigger but not sure what medium to use. Can I just get any potting soil.

    • @brentwalker8596
      @brentwalker8596 5 років тому

      Sativa and Indica are photoperiod types so if you are growing outdoors the change in day/night length will trigger flowering automatically. Indoor growers must change their lighting schedule in order to mimic what happens outdoors naturally.. There is no single "correct" soil for container growing. If you do a search on "super soil" yo can find lots of recipes for high quality potting soil. I mix my own sometimes while others I buy premixed soil .My personal favorite is Foxfarm's Ocean Forest which is a complete soil that only requires water with minimal fertilizing.

    One of my plants went into flowering few weeks ago, but 2 days ago they started dropping on the leaves really bad. Is it that it’s overwatered or needs nutrients? It’s a female indica

    What happens if you put nitrogen in your soil during pre flowering? I put some broken green beans in my soil for nitrogen and didnt realize it would be a bad idea

      You plants still need nitrogen during preflower - those green beans shouldnt hurt at all
