I find it incredibly ironic considering that people turn a blind eye to Hamazura who did much worse than Misaki who is literally a traumatized teenager who acted out of PTSD
I went into season 3 of Railgun thinking I’d hate Shokuhou especially since it was setting her up as the antagonist only for it to be a red herring (I went in completely blind.) but I ended up enjoying her…I might have a weakness to blondes too.
"I think Misaki should've punished for being mentally fragile", said the fans that just read the entity who brainwashed Index, caused 98% of the shit on the series and is the single evilest thing in the whole franchise with no redeeming qualities being forgive one volume prior.
I think the problem is that she is notoriously divisive and always stirs up shit when she enters the story and manipulated many people herself. So of course they won’t care if a master manipulator get manipulated by someone else. Her power is not exactly compelling to make her likable as a hero as her only power is to take away a person’s mind, essentially stripping them of their dignity as a human (free will is what makes us human after all).
@@lenleon3699 Hard disagree on the "the Power isnt copelling", her power is literally the center of all the franchise. And I'm not even joking. Most of the "evil" people on the series dont have any powers, or have and dont use at all (Laura, the Kiharas, Aleister, KnT... The only one with real power was actually Fiamma). And yet they're constantly doing brainwash and mind control on levels Misaki cant even dream achieving. Everyone else is either misguided by discrimination (like Vento and Stiyl calling everyone on Academy City "monsters", "mutants" and what not), or just being used by a higher up (like the whole Dark Side where a good chunk is composed by people forced to be there like GROUP or that dont have anywhere to go like ITEM after WW3). Misaki is the exact same foil to all those main villains that Mikoto is to the minor ones. Kuroko's speech about how "Mikoto can break the City in half if she wanted, but she's a good girl and knows some empathy" she talks to Awaki fits letter by letter on Misaki as well. Without Misaki the best shot we would have on a "good character that manipulates everyone" to be a counter point to the majority of the enemies would be... Himegami, because she force vampires to attack her? Kaibi because she at least use her powers to solve problems without violence? Vento who literally has a walking war-crime as main weapon but at least doesnt kill, just puts everyone on a coma?
@@albertonishiyama1980 Er, I meant that mind control and mind manipulation do not scream “trusty or likable”. It is the powers usually given to the sketchy gray anti heroes, or at worst the villains with no good intentions (there is an entire subsection of doujins made for the dang thing for a reason).
I always interpreted Misaki's actions in NT22R as her being psychologically manipulated by KnT so I don't really hold it against her. I mean I feel like its a theme throughout the Toaru series, New Testament at least, that the characters are being pushed to their mental breaking points so yeah it kinda fits. On a side note with all that's happening between Misaki and Misaka in the GT volumes, I'm starting to think Kamachi himself ships the two.
@@randomguyblank1616 i am at nt volume 7 so i lack significant information but yuri , it would Disappoint me, it would be better if there is no relation
Was not expecting Aeon to also be familiar with Testament Sister New Devil, he is by far a greater man of culture than I previously realized. Lol awesome video on Misaki!
I don't hate misaki, i am quite fond of her. But everytime i see one of her quirks on screen, i get a massive displeasure, which I've recently discovered is from the tragic past between her and touma. Every encounter between the two is doomed to be forgotten by touma, which makes her smug smile depressing. There's nothing else about her that bothers me, and this one is made by good writing. You can't hate her for doing one mistake born of her conflict and desperation, you might as well hate every character touma meets. The haters can surely make better use of their time, and great video as always king.
@@Lewitlai@cruilacan4959 In the last volume, after they were all defeated by Coronzon. Othinus gives advice to Touma, who could not defeat Coronzon with the Imagine Breaker alone, to defeat Coronzon he had to use another card from his extensive dakk. At the end of nt22 Touma transform in Invisible Thing and defeats Coronzon. But in the end Aleister disapear. In the end, Touma thinks something absurd, that if he had used the Imagine Breaker better and had his memories maybe he could have saved Aleister. (Touma did not know that Aleister was alive lmao) After Touma split into 2. 1 remained a monster, and the other was the IB with his ability and his memories were separated from him. That creates confusion in his friends and they fight
@@LewitlaiIn the end after Touma defeats the other Touma and tells him that he is his wish, that And that he may have done wrong things but that’s just a ability. (And that all his behavior really comes from Touma). PS: Kamachi probably did this to clean up Misaki. That’s what upset Touma and refuses to accept reality Finally after this one return to his arm, Touma accepts that everything that happened is his fault. He was basically the one who made his friends fight on both sides. And he accepts Aleister’s death. (But, surprised Aleister is alive and meets Touma in GT5) At present everything is insignificant with the introduction of the Transcendents.
I remember being mad at Misaki for NT22R moment. But at the same time, I understand that she was extremely vunerable mentally, being taunted by the perspective of being remembered in some form or way, after over a year of suffering in silence and pretending. Looking from the outside, it was a fundamentally illogical and unwise move, but that was all about Misaki's emotions. Although she did went a bit too far then and the fact that she almost started a war was not helping. But she redeemed herself completely when she didn't let Misaka die even if it was convenient, knowing that even if Touma never learned that she did something bad, she still didn't want to do something while knowing Touma would be hurt by it.
fr, KnT knew what he was doing by targeting her insecurities and her ultimate desire, he was pretty much like the devil in the volume from the way he manipulated others and tempted Misaki
@@AeonofHorusAnd she knew she was doing the wrong thing and still did it. Having a character understand something is wrong but still do it anyway because of emotions and clinging to a false hope is how you write interesting characters
Misaka's definitely the best girl in my opinion with Misaki as a close second and its very strange to see that she gets hate considering what we know about her. It makes her far more interesting that Misaka in all honesty.
Honestly, I can't really call Misaki controversial or hated, because she literally the 2nd most popular female character in a Toaru franchise, hell couple of time she beat juggernaut Mikoto in official polls and NT11 was reprinted a few times, so by definition the subset of her haters is small to not matter. Not to mention her haters doesn't even compare to amount of Mikoto haters (or shitkoto/shitsaka as they say).
As I said in the vid, it's mainly from readers of NT22R, some anime only watchers don't like her too. But yeah it's the case of popular characters getting more hate, Misaka being an example.
Misaki is a great character! I feel like there are some fans who can't accept characters who makes mistakes unless the mistake is mass murder like Accelerator and Othinus lol Yes she caused some trouble but no one died and the person who got most hurt was herself. Of all the critisms you mentioned people have of her, the only one I think has merit is the lack of consequences from 22R. But to me that's more of a GT issue than a Misaki issue. I do understand why people don't like Hornysaki but to me that falls under the "fan service" category which I never like and try to ignore. So I wouldn't criticize her character specifically for it.
"There were no repercussions for her actions." Then comes GT, where Spoilers . . . . . Touma is hanging with a girl who killed him multiple times (+ Othinus of course). I believe Rimea said something about forgiveness in NT22R. Considering the lines other characters have crossed, Touma and his friends not forgiving her would be the stranger outcome in my view. But I respect those who disagree.
That thumbnail is certainly really experimental, just like some of kamachi's writing at times. 👍 From my perspective, this decision was the perfect way to demonstrate to the audience how much Touma means to her and her current mental state. It's certainly really selfish. And she realized her mistake right after, and most of the blame falls on KnT for being so manipulative in the situation, imo. I am one of the people who really liked this moment, as i ended up liking her character even more because of it. I don't have really solid reasoning as to why, but i guess to an extent i ended up respecting her decision. Though i would have really liked for the other characters to have touched on her decision after the situation ended and when they all were together in GT2, but hey, that's just me.
I definitionly understand why people hate her in NT22R, however people need to remember that's how smart or manipulative characters work. KNT unlike Touma is actually manipulative. KNT has great interpersonal intelligence, he used the whistle as a way to get through her conflicting emotions. Also if you watch or read Star Wars Ep 3 novels, you know how Palpatine works and how he got to Anakin. That's how KNT works and how he manipulated Misaki. While I won't deny Misaka and Touma should've questioned her more or be more upset with her more. Misaka should've have defintionly been more distant from her from now on but after GT2, I think there good. At least she faced punishment when her own power destroyed her. However again that's why she's the best written female in Toaru. She realized how she messed up, doing something selfish will hurt those she cares about and she would break mentally. The emotions she went through are very understandable, however the fact she finally decides which Touma is real she can move on. The real Touma despite having no memories of her will always be the boy she loves.
Yep, you're completely right comparing KnT to Palpatine in the sense they tempt Anakin/Misaki with what they want the most to make them fall to their side. KnT/Palps are like the classic devil from the bible in that way. Absolutely agree.
LEGIT! I always point that out to them! Its crazy that KnT is so popular and liked, even tho he was the one who took advantage of Misaki and manipulated her on purpose
I didn't know that Misaka was hated. I don't really this strongly on Misaka or her friend group or SISTERS ( only Kuroko but that when she's in judgement mode and not one-sama mode ) but I love her fight scenes and how she uses her powers.
Excellent video. I was definitely not expecting a late Sunday afternoon one. That being said, I knew bits and pieces about Misaki and also about her past with Touma but that really filled in a lot of the gaps. I personally never had a problem with her and thought she was a fun, likable character. An attractable match also for Touma depending on how things finally shake down. I say she does not deserve any real hate in my opinion. Keep those lore videos coming my friend.
Generally in the camp that her power by default is vile and due to her severe trust issues. She is desperate to have everyone under that power, even people would think they are actually her friends. They don't have a clue that she could have them walk right out street and would if they ever found out and questioned her about it. But then the author is known to be inconsistent character writer, so who knows.
A moment why i hate her, not extremely, is to he hate Misaka just to her clone who was her best friend died and he blame Misaka, like most of the villains, for her suffering when he was just a child who wanted to help but a greedy scientist had other plans, for real he was the only one beside Toma who wanted to save her clones when everyone else just blame her with this bit$& included.
I mean... Wanting "unforgiviness" for this, when the MCs already forgave Accel, Mugino and FUCKING OTHINUS basically by their second meet is... ignoring the themes from the series, to say the least. FUCKING CORONZON was forgiven literally one volume prior. I really dont understand what everyone was expecting for Misaki.

Misaki Shokuhou is like my second or third favorite character from the Animes after Misaka Mikoto and Accelerator and Touma Kamijou shes only really seen in Season 3 of Railgun and at the beginning of Season 2 of Railgun and that was like 3 years ago since they made Season 3 of Railgun... I think Misaki should really get her own Anime Side Story like Misaka.... it will definitely be better then the one Season Accelerator got.....
Does accelerator turn to be that good in later series so many fans of him. The only thing I saw is he saving 20k1th misaka did he do some amazing feats after and in novels as well
It makes sense for her character yeah, and was a nice progression of her character arc in NT, I somewhat agree there should have been more of a reaction to it. But perhaps they realised KnT was manipulating her and was the true enemy.
Yeah, the volume was really crazy, Kamachi goes deep into Touma's character using themes from the very first volume regarding his identity and memory loss. Really good stuff!
Actually, she is a really nice character with a lot of complexity. Not a good or bad person but in a spectrum like any real person with desires, wants, good qualities, and bad. Not everything can be white or black. Misaka in the sisters show a level of desperation and the irrationality that i think many people will feel at some point in life, when you don't know what else do and just want it to be over. The only character that I think is plain and so reductive is index. Lol
Great video Accelerator Kills 10K+ clones, Fanbase favorite character. Misaki makes a decision to get with the person she loves, Fanbase hates her. Personally, I Like Misaki every character has flaws, It makes good writing.
People justify characters they like while finding every little thing wrong with those who don't. I mean look at the justifications for Index then they blast Misaki for trying to get her man back LOL.
I am really surprised Accelerator is so popular and even got his own main title. Other some slight ptsd on rare occasions. He hasn't changed a bit, he only does a few nice things for last order and the worst one because of guilt.
I bypassed Misaki first introduction due to the fact that I did not like Railgun at all and I read her bio from the wiki and then of course I watch railgun later on when season 3 was coming out and before that I watch NT22R and that was like a big moment for her to be honest I thought she was going to keep her distance away from Touma after that volume due to the fact that experience was very traumatic but nope she has almost appear in every volume of GT since then
U wouldn't have been more compelling that they have her try and rebuild things only for it to ultimately fail but succeed at the same time like the group forgives her but the relationship or trust isn't what it used to be and from there build it up to the point that it does eventually go back slightly to where it once was shows more growth of the relationship but that could just be me wanting more drama
As someone who has dated beautiful women with wild pasts, I can tell you that what she did is pretty accurate to how women are like when they get lost in their feelings lololol. 😬
i actually like misaki's character because she is one of the link for the past touma to the current one... plus its obvious she loves the past touma a lot with all the hints in the first series's timeline's stories... then when it was revealed later on if you think of it from her perspective, yea it was irresistible choice to betray the others for someone she has loved since forever.... imagine loving someone and connecting with them and only for them to lose their memories after every encounter and this was all your fault.... that is a very hard pill to swallow for almost everyone in the entire world... plus almost all of the girls (who are the majority of his allies) are madly in love with him anyways because of his idiotic nature to save others even though he looks insignificant and weaker than them... so they probably could relate a bit to her plight....
since the beginning we are introduced to her, Misaki may be smiling and accepted "it's fine this way, even if he cant remember me" -all the time.. but when false touma showed her a glimpse of what is it like if "touma remmber her", she broke apart. all those years she was holding it inside her.. how desperate she actually wants the real Touma to remember her.. if there's someone i really rooted for in Toaru universe to find happiness..it's Misaki 💔 it was just brutal and unfair that he cant even remember her when this girl loves her this deeply
I think I still like Misaka (and maybe Saten) more than Misaki, but I do also really like Misaki for pretty much the reasons you listed. Complex characters are my favorite, and Misaki is one of the most complex characters in ToAru
The problem is that many of her fans think she is a great GENTLE oneesan while the truth was that she's only trying SO HARD to be like that because of how TOUMA MOCKS HER APPEARANCE AND ATTITUDES. That's she's trying so hard and it was supported by the fact that she knows Touma MORE LONGER than Misaka and Index. While the truth is that she is still the same as Misaka and Index. An unstable 14 years old brat. If you see Index NT vol.22reverse then you will understand of how dark the inside of Misaki was.
Im glad back when i binge watching toaru kagaku , I start from the anime and not invested enough to care about spoilers or anything. I had a genuine hate towards misaki and her clique back then at the middle of the season. After knowing what really happened, she's one of my favorite
Nah I don’t even read the books but girl just mind controlled her friend and ntred the only reason to pity her and she didn’t even get there ussop treatment of being ignored for a day and having to say sorry I don’t care if she’s got blood on her shirt Squidward gets bloody every single episode for running away
Actually that's an good idea for alternate story. Imagine her miracle never arrives so she takes the initiative to get pregnant by him (by assaulting him in a night or when he's in a weak status) so the child will serve as a proof of Shokuhou Misaki existed in Touma's life. Then years later, Touma and Misaka's son meets a girl who looks like Misaki but with black hair and black eyes with big sister aura...
Never thought misaki was this hated lmaoo and ive said this on twitter and ill say it again aeon of horus is the best toaru content creator and no one can prove me wrong
Personally flatdere and boobyblonde are tied at waifu tier. However, I agree that Misaki got off way too easy from her betrayal. She needed a redemption arc where she had to really suffer from her decisions, be it memtally, emotionally, socially or just about anything. There's a reason why the deepest part of hell is reserved for betrayers, and Misaki just got a slap in the wrist for the most severe of acts.
A certain scientific & magical NTR 🤣 I never read the novels but man everything you described sounds funny because of how convoluted the plot seems to be
Yeah I also realise it sounds kinda dumb without context, and if I were to explain everything properly then the focus of the video would be lost kek Recommend checking out some of my other vids where I go into the details :P
I think for as horrible as what Shokuho does in NT22R and whatnot are, I end up liking her more as a character for it. She's a good person who does bad things; but unlike a lot of characters who do things like badass evil mastermind heroes in other series, shokuhou's not some "invulnerable badass who can do everything and is never damaged by the world around her", shokuho's acts in NT22R honestly solidified her as one of my favorite characters due to how much you can see her weaknesses as a person. Also, I feel like her not being punished for what she did in NT22R can itself be classified as a form of punishment. It also does a good job of showing how the other characters' maturities as well, so I like it.
I haven't read NT yet but as soon as I seen Shokuhou in Railgun I knew she was going to be a complex misunderstood character that would get a lot of unnecessary hate. The more I saw her the more I love her. I do wish they didn't make her yet another girl that loves Touma. It annoys me that in Index almost every girl he helps/saves becomes a simp and he never shows interest in any of them and most become background characters after introduction. I wish Misaki was a lesbian instead and loved either Hokaze, Dolly or Misaka(later on) Misaka on the other hand I have mixed feelings of. When I had just seen Index seasons 1 and 2 I got so fed up with her obnoxious Tsundere antics that I just wanted Touma to punch her. In railgun however I love her when she bonds with her clones and friends (especially her clones) but if it wasn't for her having precious adorable clones she'd be far less interesting. I don't hate all Tsunderes by the way, there's several I like a lot like Rin from Fate, Touka from Tokyo Ghoul Kurisu from Steins Gate ect I just can't stand Misaka's tsundere side.
I mean clones > Misaka in terms of writing. Couse they are crucial to the plot and don't feel forced. As far as love interest go only Index, Othinus and Accel I think love Touma. Misaka and Misaki treat Touma more like a goal post or something. Only lesbian I think in the show was that redhead from AB and even she gave up.
Touma saves the same global terrorist who planned and actually destroyed the world and made him suffer: he is GOAT. Misaki controls the people in Windsor Castle to help a version of Touma who actually remembers and talks to her after days of being a ghost to the original Touma: she is a b!tch. While Shokuhou is a necessary character in the Railgun side of the story for it to evolve, in the main series she got introduced more to push the Moe side of Misaka in the story. Get her out and the Railgun becomes less interesting on her own, since she is always left behind.
I mean growing up being used like all the espers but actually realizing it is one thing. Misaki's "revelation" that people are using her is different, she doesn't just "know", she read their actual minds with all the side-thoughts they had. If you grow up being critisized and hated due to idek racist, sexist remarks and God knows what, you start to distrust a lot of people and rely on yourself. It's like reading mean internet comments from sexists and racists people unfiltered all the time (or the times she wants to). Imo, "mind-reading" the way Misaki does can be very instant, not reading a line from start to the end but an instaneous acquirement of what the person has thought to a point she chooses. So she grew up basing her social interactions on that, her social interactions are more one-sided because she can choose to read the minds at any time and people that know about her power might feel uneasy around her, which adds to the social awkwardness already surrounding her interactions. She might feel lost and out of control when talking to people she cannot "read", which, in our eyes is fine but in her (personal) reality, something is not normal to her.
Dyou think it's possible that KnT didn't actually have any more memories than OG Touma, but simply used conjecture and observation to piece together a mental picture of Shokuhou, and then used mere suggestion to manipulate her into acting the way she did? I dont recall from my reading of NT22R (before Baka Tsuki removed it due to its being licensed...lol) that KnT actually had those memories or if he was just such a good con artist that he was able to make do without them

I for one can’t fault her for siding with KnT after all the pain she goes through with her love for Touma. I mean cmon this is a series where one of the now best boys started off killing over 10,000 clones in some pretty brutal ways. It’s perfectly fine for Misaki to make one mistake especially when that mistake highlights just how much she loves Touma and wants so badly to be with him and have him remember her.
The problem is Accelerator has spent the entire series working to make up for his crimes and is literally in prison now. Misaki didn't suffer any repercussions for nearly getting Touma and several of his freinds killed.
@@WokeandProud Because she not only has to suffer losing perhaps the only chance she could have gotten of being with Touma. But now she just goes right back to her normal suffering. Being unable to properly be apart of the life of the guy she likes. I’d say that’s punishment enough.

"I think Misaki should've punished for being mentally fragile", said the fans that just read the entity who brainwashed Index, caused 98% of the shit on the series and is the single evilest thing in the whole franchise with no redeeming qualities being forgive one volume prior.
Aleister
Right, Misaki is nothing compared to Aleister

Oreigaru Fans Intensefied
Yes
I don't hate misaki, i am quite fond of her. But everytime i see one of her quirks on screen, i get a massive displeasure, which I've recently discovered is from the tragic past between her and touma.
Every encounter between the two is doomed to be forgotten by touma, which makes her smug smile depressing. There's nothing else about her that bothers me, and this one is made by good writing.
You can't hate her for doing one mistake born of her conflict and desperation, you might as well hate every character touma meets.
The haters can surely make better use of their time, and great video as always king.
Nah, basic and simple
Question. Why did that happen? Why did Touma split into 2?
@@Lewitlai you sure you want me to spoil it for you? It's a pretty intense arc.
(Touma did not know that Aleister was alive lmao)
After Touma split into 2. 1 remained a monster, and the other was the IB with his ability and his memories were separated from him.
That’s what upset Touma and refuses to accept reality
Finally after this one return to his arm, Touma accepts that everything that happened is his fault. He was basically the one who made his friends fight on both sides. And he accepts Aleister’s death. (But, surprised Aleister is alive and meets Touma in GT5)
At present everything is insignificant with the introduction of the Transcendents.
@@AeonofHorusI think you forgot to say that was Touma’s skill but with Touma’s attitude. (It’s the most important part really.)
@@AeonofHorusThe central axis is really Touma, and how is his head.
Not talking about the small stuff. Someone noticed that Anna organized that so that Touma would become stronger.
Misaka's definitely the best girl in my opinion with Misaki as a close second and its very strange to see that she gets hate considering what we know about her. It makes her far more interesting that Misaka in all honesty.
Aleister and Aradia deletes them .
It's just perspective i guess. Many hate Misaka aswell
The MisaMisa duo are still my favourite characters in toaru
Misaki is a great character! I feel like there are some fans who can't accept characters who makes mistakes unless the mistake is mass murder like Accelerator and Othinus lol
Yes she caused some trouble but no one died and the person who got most hurt was herself.
0:43. My only reply to this is MISAMISA.....................
"There were no repercussions for her actions." Then comes GT, where Spoilers

Touma is hanging with a girl who killed him multiple times (+ Othinus of course). I believe Rimea said something about forgiveness in NT22R. Considering the lines other characters have crossed, Touma and his friends not forgiving her would be the stranger outcome in my view. But I respect those who disagree.
That thumbnail is certainly really experimental, just like some of kamachi's writing at times. 👍
From my perspective, this decision was the perfect way to demonstrate to the audience how much Touma means to her and her current mental state.

I’m a hard core fan of misaka but I would never hate misaki she’s a great character just like most of the characters in the series

Based
Generally in the camp that her power by default is vile and due to her severe trust issues.
I mean compared to what other fan favorite characters have done what Misaki did is honestly pretty tame.
I mean...

I kind understand Misaki point of view she really can’t trust nobody less she mind control them she doesn’t want be betrayed or manipulated by anybody with her past and happen to herself and her friend I can’t really blame her for that even she acts as villain or bad girl around other people’s
I don’t hate her, I just think she’s selfish. Still an amazing character though.
The only thing I saw is he saving 20k1th misaka did he do some amazing feats after and in novels as well
She is one of my most favorite characters in the franchise!
I understand why she did it people can do selfish things but i think they should have been mad at her for it afterwards
It makes sense for her character yeah, and was a nice progression of her character arc in NT, I somewhat agree there should have been more of a reaction to it. But perhaps they realised KnT was manipulating her and was the true enemy.
like aeon said but I personally would also expect Misaki to think over it herself the most. GT 2: never mind!
wow that's NT's ending arc? Pretty great if you ask me.
Yeah, the volume was really crazy, Kamachi goes deep into Touma's character using themes from the very first volume regarding his identity and memory loss. Really good stuff!
Notorious character design 🤣 aeon you really good at saying words by secret non-direct way

Lol
She's basically a good version of Laura from church
Great video
Accelerator Kills 10K+ clones, Fanbase favorite character.
Misaki makes a decision to get with the person she loves, Fanbase hates her.
Personally, I Like Misaki every character has flaws, It makes good writing.
Exactly
Lol, facts.
Misaki best heroine
since the beginning we are introduced to her, Misaki may be smiling and accepted "it's fine this way, even if he cant remember me" -all the time.. but when false touma showed her a glimpse of what is it like if "touma remmber her", she broke apart. all those years she was holding it inside her.. how desperate she actually wants the real Touma to remember her.. if there's someone i really rooted for in Toaru universe to find happiness..it's Misaki 💔
it was just brutal and unfair that he cant even remember her when this girl loves her this deeply
Basically she is accelerator type character but less edgy but bigger plot.
Hey man as someone who also what to return to the past and patch thing i relate to that much 😂
Nah I don’t even read the books but girl just mind controlled her friend and ntred the only reason to pity her and she didn’t even get there ussop treatment of being ignored for a day and having to say sorry I don’t care if she’s got blood on her shirt Squidward gets bloody every single episode for running away
if Touma cant remember her everytime they part, it would be scary if one day she might just show a child claiming it's Touma.

She needed a redemption arc where she had to really suffer from her decisions, be it memtally, emotionally, socially or just about anything.
There's a reason why the deepest part of hell is reserved for betrayers, and Misaki just got a slap in the wrist for the most severe of acts.

It also does a good job of showing how the other characters' maturities as well, so I like it.
i love her love of touma
She’s my second favourite in the series, right behind Kuroko.
0:20 I was wondering when you'll be mentioning that video lmao
I haven't read NT yet but as soon as I seen Shokuhou in Railgun I knew she was going to be a complex misunderstood character that would get a lot of unnecessary hate. The more I saw her the more I love her. I do wish they didn't make her yet another girl that loves Touma. It annoys me that in Index almost every girl he helps/saves becomes a simp and he never shows interest in any of them and most become background characters after introduction. I wish Misaki was a lesbian instead and loved either Hokaze, Dolly or Misaka(later on)
Misaka on the other hand I have mixed feelings of.
I like her, though, even when I first saw her from the series.
4:50 That one is really good too though.
6:44 I won't ask questions bit it will take a few weeks to get there lmao
Yeah, compared to Shield Hero's elder princess "B!tch" Misaki's practically a saint...

It’s perfectly fine for Misaki to make one mistake especially when that mistake highlights just how much she loves Touma and wants so badly to be with him and have him remember her.
absolutely
The problem is Accelerator has spent the entire series working to make up for his crimes and is literally in prison now. Misaki didn't suffer any repercussions for nearly getting Touma and several of his freinds killed.
@@WokeandProud Because she not only has to suffer losing perhaps the only chance she could have gotten of being with Touma. But now she just goes right back to her normal suffering. Being unable to properly be apart of the life of the guy she likes. I’d say that’s punishment enough.
Ahh yes NT22R the last time Misaki was interesting then GT gave her the Misaka treatment.Honestly MisaMisa was a mistake.
I wholeheartedly agree. MisaMisa was one big mistake.
But i think knc is his real self who has all memories after all.
The title says it all.
Sucks she didn't take KnT's memories from before dragons breath and give them to Touma, it doesnt seem like an impossible thing to do
His pathways to her memories have been destroyed. So that would be useless.
I could never ever dislike her, i mean just look at her. She has two big arguments. That's enaugh for me.
Cmon, Misaki has great personality. Two of them.
Is this Mami from Rent a Girlfriend?
Bros not going to make a explsin s2 s3 confirmed
I heard that NT ruined her character from a friend since she was my fav railgun girl and I have always been curious how accurate that is. Thanks for the vid.
No problem!
2:32 FFN part of the fanbase: So you have chosen death.
Newnumber 2 book out
Ngl, 2nd best female character of toaru after Othinus imo. NT 22R made her a 10/10 character.
Good taste
Thanks for the insightful episode. I actually did hate her until later on in the series. I actually got banned for seven days on Facebook because I called her a bitch,😆
So what happened to your NT volume summary videos were they not doing the numbers?
The recent NT8 epilogue one didn't do so well. Still I want to do NT21 to see how that performs, I might as well do NT22-R at some point too
Does misaki have a clone? The little blonde clone with the lollipop kinda looks like her. Also I thought misaki can’t use metal out with the 3rd rank level 5
Nah, febri and janri aren't related to her. And while Misaki can't normally use Mental Out on Misaka due to the electro barrier, when Mental Out went berserk it was able to bypass it.
@@AeonofHorus another question if Misaki and the girl in the pink dress try to use their power in each other who would win?
@@H2COable Misaki by far, no other mental esper user comes close to her in power, only Ayu bc they had a similar power. Gokusai Kaibi (girl in dress name) isnt gonna do much
I'm more confused with their names sounding very similar.
Mugino is who I hate no competition.
people really need to take their meds
i love her
Dat thumbnail tho 😭😭😭
It's provocative but worked as it's gotten a lot of views!
2:54 Hey that rhythmed
Yessss
Before she was for me a better character of toaru but After NT22r, She is third .
It's not controversial because.....
SHE'S ONLY HUMAN AFTER ALL, DON'T PUT THE BLAME ON HER.
