Rice husk is an organic matter which is light and dries quickly whereas cocopeat should be used in small quantity cos it holds a lot of moisture which can lead to root rot !

I live in America's Deep South. By accident. I found it is to hot to grow roses in full sun. I have one that gets only late afternoon sun. It is doing great. The rest. Struggle when it gets into the high 90's
