A truly sweet and cheesy moment in your life, and probably the most memorable of all. It feels so surreal and so dreamy that you get to spend the rest of your life with the love of your life (I personally think the octave higher version of the melody is just so slightly sweeter and more angelic). You feel like you're on cloud nine and that nothing will ever go wrong. But then as life goes on, you get hit by the reality of life (as we can hear from the piece as it suddenly starts to sound more dramatic and "minor chords ish" during the second part). Things start to get real, and you encounter a lot of obstacles with your marriage and career. You and your partner start arguing a lot, and every day is just a depressing day. In the end, you and your partner stayed strong, and stayed together till the very end. You two managed to pull through, facing every challenge valiantly. The challenges in life start to subside as you're getting older and older, and life starts getting sweeter again with your partner. When you think back, you realised that the main reason why you and your partner managed to pull through was because no matter what happened, you two always loved each other and were always there for each other. You smile as you revisit all the old memories of you and your partner together. From the very beginning, at the highest points of your relationship, and even the most stressing ones. So in the third and last part (where the melody repeats for the third time), we can hear the dramatic and intense part of the piece quieting down into a smoother, softer, more gentle melody, hinting towards the end of the piece, and also the end of your life. You spend the remainder of your life with your partner together, just the two of you. Having some morning coffee together at the balcony of your small house while seeing the sunrise, talking to each other all day like two young lovebirds. You two stare at the sunrise, both of you feel so grateful to have met each other (we reach the final bars of the piece, slowing down with a rubato). Together alone with each other's embrace, it all feels like a love dream again.

A bit of an insomniac, I'm up at the 'puter checking out the youtube folks who I am drawn to because of their charm or wit or purity of spirit, and I listened to Tiffany's discussion about choosing a conservatory or a college, which was thoughtful and insightful as well, then the Liszt piece rolled around again, and I just couldn't refuse it. Listening on wireless headphones so as not to disturb the "somniac" the sound is rich, pure, melodic and artfully crafted in every detail. I hope I'm not over embellishing my reaction which I've already expounded upon a couple of weeks ago, but some experiences are timeless and well worth revisiting such as is this piece played by Tiffany. I heard you playing it as a young child, and the remarkable difference in the interpretation and execution of this romantic expression of pianist art is dramatic in so many ways. The pauses, the shifting of keys and tempos, the lively twinkling of the waterfall as all of your hands are used to deftly and daintily run down the keyboard in a dripping rush of delicacy and softness...............it's an amazing piece made even more so by your mature gracefulness and personal interpretation. I'm not a musician, but I love the art of music and musicianship, and this may be one of my favorite brief but expressive pieces of any I've ever heard. Thank you for sharing with us, Tiffany.

This is the finest rendition of liebestraum! So many people make the more passionate parts harsh. This is just perfect!
This is carbon copy of frederic Lamond's interpretation
I like the way you don't rush the climax; for me, it's the difference between ephemeral love versus deep love, and also, the difference between being absorbed in one's own world versus desperately trying to communicate the full broadness of one's passion. Very well done in my opinion !
The color you added in 2:25 always gets me whenever I listen to this recording!
Magician performance, bravo Lady, with love from New Jersey, USA
Such powerful hands, you play with passion
Tiffany you'll never see this but can I just say you are just absolutely INCREDIBLE. I am sat here in awe watching your videos back to back
She plays this piece way more beautiful then I can find anywhere else on UA-cam
Even better than Lamond? Ok.
She does a wonderful job playing this piece unlike anyone else. It gives us a sense how deep love really is ❤
*i think i cried a lil bit...*
Yes you did, as did l. 🙂
Absolute beauty. Pure passion.
2:11 lol vibrato in the right hand
Its a way for us pianists to release tension in the hands especially in pieces like this
lmao
@@jullianrenoria9194 Exactly, and I tried 1000 ways to imitate her touch and miserably failed.
@@randomcubing7106 HAHAHA YESSS it happens to cause our hands to slip of the keys while playing lmaooo... i think we do it subconsiosly tho.. we dont realize that we do it when we r tense
@@jullianrenoria9194 I'm not alone to do that?!? I thought I watched too many violinists
This is beyond. The way you play makes me feel alive. Thank you
A bit of an insomniac, I'm up at the 'puter checking out the youtube folks who I am drawn to because of their charm or wit or purity of spirit, and I listened to Tiffany's discussion about choosing a conservatory or a college, which was thoughtful and insightful as well, then the Liszt piece rolled around again, and I just couldn't refuse it.
Most sensitive interpretation I've ever heard, without excess of drama and an impeccable dynamic control. What a pleasure... thank you, Tiffany!
Love’s Sorrow has been my favorite song for so long... now after hearing you play Love Dream I think this one might be tied 😭😭♥️ thank you Tiffany. It’s so so beautiful.
I think lover’s sorrow is better because of its deeper sounds but this one is not too bad
This is truly unbelievable. It's mesmerizing how many dynamics you pull out from that piano. Softer dynamics are clear and strong. Louder ones are controlled and smoothly intense. Impressive. It really is for me. Dear lady, thanks for sharing this for free.
from 2:09 i officially cannot hold my tears anyomore.,. its too much emotions for me to listen to her playing this masterpiece
Marvelous interpretation! Compelling emotional journey... Miss Poon has laid bare Mr. Liszt's soul...
Oh, I really love that interpretation! You play with your hearth, and it's very important!
I can't even put words on what I feel right now. This is beyond perfection, beyond everything I have ever felt. You are amazing. Thank you for sharing this incredible moment with us.
My favourite song played by favourite pianist!
Such clarity such precision. Melody sticks out and accompaniment vanishes completely especially pages 3 and 4. I'm lost for words to describe this masterpiece
PERFECT PLAY, PERFECT TIMING = TEARS IN MY EYES!
I don't think it gets any better than that. Absolutely fabulous
Absolutely, absolutely stunning. Love the expression and passion given the piece, simply astonishing.
Those hard hit notes, you can really feel the passion from her as she plays this piece. Well done!
Fascinating performance ❤️
I use to miss Jorge Bolet and Claudio Arrau, but you, young lady, understand Liszt very well . Bravo !
This is such a treasure. It brought joy to my heart. Thanks for sharing!
I’ve listened to just about every performance of liebestraum there is on youtube. i’ve been trying to find a recording that sounds close or similar to my late girlfriend who played liebestraum and only liebestraum. i used to get slightly annoyed or bored of the piece, but after she passed away last month due to heart complications, i wish i would have listened to it more. this recording was the closest i’ve found, thank you for this
I'm a newcomer to your channel and recent subscriber of yours. I want to tell you that your videos are excellent and I love to watch them. You are an excellent musician, and I've had a really good time watching your videos over the last week. I especially like that you play classical music, because I've always had a fondness for that type of music. I can't wait to see your video next. Have a fantastic day.
Thanks for everything tiffany. I love you so much. Thank you...
perfect tempo.
Beautiful... you can see she pours her soul into the piece, bravo!
You have seriously become one of my favorite interpreters. I’m so grateful one of your videos were randomly recommended by UA-cam otherwise I never would’ve even discovered you!! Bought your music on iTunes and I wish you’d release more! ❤️
That was the only time this piece touched my heart so profoundly. Thank you.
She deserves more recognition, her piano playing is amazing ❤
Creativity erupts from Tiffany. Imagine having the capability, literally at your fingertips, to play ultimately any piece ever written. I am truly in awe.
Remarquable de finesse et de sensibilité.
Oh God..
how smooth, genuine, breathtaking is this? LOOOOOVE IT.
The way that she enjoys playing piano is so inspiring , all of us want to find something we do it with such a passion.
Advanced Human
You could play it if you spent as many hours and with the same focus as she probably did. Or maybe not.
Maybe not.. probably not... nah... impossible..
veti same,I can Play It and I’’m 15
Péter Kovács have you seen Rousseau ?
@@vetiarvind Tiffany has both a power and delicacy rarely experienced in the piano world. How such a slim frame elicits such grand magnificence out of the piano is a mystery only God can comprehend. I've never heard this piece played with such a unique presence. Its like we heard Liszt himself perform it - if he was this good. :) Which I wonder because this is a pretty impossible standard to attain. Tiffany is a gift to the world.
This is maybe the most beautiful piece ever wrote and that was one of the interpretation that I liked the most
Wow Tiffany you just have a special ability make every piece you play come alive and be beautiful. I play piano as well so I know how difficult it can be, your one of my favorite pianist
I come back to this often, I forget what it's called but the change she did in 2:23 by playing the notes one by one rather than together is basically the reason I can never listen to other people's version lol
Wow! I've listened Buniatishvili and Lang Land and this may be my favourite.
Beyond beautiful. Telling a story with your soul through your fingertips. Pure magic.
Your rendition of this piece...the best ever in my 81 years...is perfection for me. Thank you for putting it on UA-cam. Is in my top tne ALL TIME faves!
Playing the right notes is one thing, playing the piece beautifully is another thing, well done Tiffany!
Bravo Tiffany .
It's "Brava" for a lady.
Perfection!!! Thank you, Tiffany❤️💖💙👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I couldn't avert my eyes from you for even a second.. it was so captivating
Tiffany, you are just getting better and better and this was done 5 years ago! It gives me goosebumps whenever I listen to it.
I feel like a wimp but this is the only interpretation of liebestraum that truly almost made me cry tears because of how well its played.
I love this song! The emotion in it is so beautiful. But that's only possible with an amazing pianist to make it flow and tumble with perfection.
Your whole body emotion, and your perfection with the piece makes Franz Liszt's work ever magical.
Thank you Tiffany. I haven't seen anyone play it better.
Outside of a few notes out of tune, this is THE BEST recording of this piece! My favorite interpretation of this beloved work, ever!! Thank you for sharing this!!!
Piano will never be perfectly in tune
Vitulus such a stupid comment
@@ScoG33 I mean its literally a fact of equal temperament tuning. Some notes are relatively flat and some are relatively sharp. 😙
Jordan Jacobson unless you’re a RPT, I’m not interested in what you have to say. As an RPT myself, my comment stands just as it did when I made it. Good day to you.
