To be fair you should have been backing up a fair bit more but the run probably wasn’t there regardless you need to genuinely drop the ball on the side of the pitch to run those ones

@@andrewmcglashan5385 He was short of his crease by many feet its very much a touch and go sort of run. You need to be wording your batting partner up if you’re gonna run that so that they’re REALLY backing up. Because that is what was required
I was cramping and we weren’t gonna take many quick singles in the situation, so I wasn’t backing up as much with the intention of drop and runs

In fairness, their spinner bowled fairly tightly. Didn't look to be much turn out there, but he was pretty consistent with his line and length.
Yeah he bowled well. The one that bowled flatter quicker leggies, was skidding them and hard to get away. The other one bowled with a heavy wind behind him, so didn’t wanna take on the wind and play straight over
Nice video. That ball at 2:47 was a nut and a half. Youchie of a BBQ though on your end. Looked like you were thinking a little too much about what you were going to do with each ball off the spinner - need to trust your shots a little more.
Yeah the situation and the strong wind from one end made it difficult to score at times, but also wanted to just take it easy and not rush the win or any dumb runs

Didn't look like you were cramping, should be at least 3 metres out of your crease on the front foot backing up, also you could've just shouted no and turned around, were barely calling loud enough during the innings, need to use your feet and use your whole crease against the spinners some terrible balls bowled there that weren't capitalized on easy 10-15 runs. At least you's got the win in the end. YES BIG KFC FEED look forward to next season bettter results coming.
