I deeply empathize with you...My Unpopular Opinion : Psychology should be taught in schools as a subject same as Science and Maths...It's not only for therapists who want to help people... Every human being should understand concepts of parenting, relationships, self-esteem, personalities etc.., These are the essential elements of living and Why we hear about these terms and right way to see things only when we have a problem??
I totally agree with you. "Criminally Underrated" is a better term for your opinion. In fact, I believe that Psychology should be introduced to kids as early as the 1st grade. It's really not that hard if you think about it. It's my favourite subject and if I was 6, I would've loved it and actually learnt something deeply meaningful at a young age. I am not some genius or something so I heavily believe that CBSE should trust the kids that this subject will positively impact them for their lifetime.
Lancet Psychiatry's 2020 Report on Mental Health Scenario (1990-2017) has covered some of these issues. It is really comforting to see this topic in Social Media being addressed by you so well. More power to you.
If ur studying psychology, or your a psychologist its important for you to keep a side hobby or cultivate so that it become the 2nd source of income in such cases. I.g. content writing , graphic designing etc. Freelancing is a great platform even an average fresher who works 9-5 get paid between 10-18k. India is a underdeploping county. I totally love the points you shared and completely agree after all even I'm psychology student. Keep making such videos. Very informative and enriching learning experience for me.
I aspire to be a psychologist when I grow but there's literally so much toxicity about this profession, I feel so discouraged. My only purpose is to help those like me who aren't able to find help.

I don't know much about psychology or the mental health industry in India, but it seems that it needs more governmental attention and increase in regulatory structure and governance for it to be on the same level as the medical and healthcare sector. Even the wellness sector (spas and salons) seem to have more enforceable regulations and appropriate regulatory bodies to address any grievances. Keep up the good work!

Whatever U said Is Absolutely Right Sis But Firstly We Must Spread Awareness About Mentalhealth & How Therapy Works To Know Phycologist Are Masters To Do This & End Up This Stigma Of Unknown..When Some Person Say Its An Illusion Deny them Even If Its Hard to Do Or Explain Them Property But Make Them Realise Its Really Exist In Anyway we can! We hv To Heal & I Wish If It needs Going To Phycologist Isn't Awkward Or Scary Thing to Do In India..😂💯

Currently I am in my AS and even tho my "aim" was engineering, i find psychology to be more interesting mainly because i feel like i can really understand and empathize with people (lol idk if that sounds funny) But i dont have psychology is college so idk how proceed or what to do exactly, so i would really love to see you talk about that.

So true!!! I've been struggling since years bc no one is ready to pay for theropists and unfortunately I can't pay myself since I'm a teenager.
