This summer I climbed the Vandeleur-Lynams of Ireland: every mountain 600m or more, with a minimum of 15m of prominence. This was also the wettest July on record in Ireland. Many of the routes I followed turned into rivers and waterfalls. So this video is a little bit of a thank you, a little bit of a love letter to the jacket that survived all that!

Not Ellie, but as of February, 2024, REI has it in the US for $230 (USD) on sale, normally $330. It looks like they're closing it out.
I'm not sure the best places to get it in other countries.

I got mine directly from Patagonia, but if REI have it on sale then that’s a great bet! Places in Ireland/Europe that might stock it include the Patagonia shop in Dublin, and maybe Cotswolds? The Patagonia EU online store has it on sale as I write this reply 😄
Patagonia is the only rain gear I’ll buy. Their H2NO standard is legit and I ay more sustainable than Gore-Tex. They also will repair any gear for life, they really put an effort into being better for the planet while making the highest quality gear they can.
Great review.. and none of these 2 and 3 layers are really that breathable.. I just unzip them a bit to cool down no biggy.
I was going to ask about the jacket, surprised there isn't affiliate link to it. If you do such a thing will you provide both male and female links please.
My old bearghaus aqa coat is getting heavy on the arms and leaking their, for the thru hikes it's too heavy but at 15 years old and several washing machine cycles it's done very well. My light Columbia jacket is similar fabric to the Patagonia but is also worn out.
