Thank you.. I got a picture of Jeremiah the Frog tattoo'd on my arm.. Daniel saved my life one day. His song "careless soul" rang throughout my head and wouldn't shut off.. it was a turning point in my life.. Your brother was a beautiful soul and still shines brightly to this day..

In college I would occasionally walk by Daniel's mural of Jeremiah the Frog with his friendly "Hi How Are You" greeting and came to find out about his music that way. Thanks for sharing this message. Daniel's art also helped a lot more people beyond himself.

Daniel's music and art has been an inspiration to me since the '80's. His home recordings inspired me to start making my own music. I thought if Daniel could do it why can't I. So in the mid '80's I got a keyboard, mic and a 4 track tape deck. Now I'm in my 60's & having fun going through those decades old recordings and combining them with my drawings into videos, uploading them to my UA-cam channel. I draw every day, it helps me express the need to create I've always had, and helps keep me level. Thank you ♥for caring for Daniel!! 👽🐇 🦆🦸

I’m always telling people to draw and paint. As an artist it is a form of self discovery, but even for people who think they are not artist and think they can’t draw… I relate a lot to Daniel…especially when i look back on my younger days but even still today.

His songs Only Missing You and Pow help me every day. There aren't many artists that make you think, wow they're literally embodying themselves in their music, their souls in this music. He eloquently and BEAUTIFULLY help us see the pain for what it is and work though it.

I don't know what i was expecting, but this is so sweet and wholesome that i cried a bit. Daniel's music has helped me feel understood since I was 14 and even more so after my psychotic episodes. It helps to know I'm not alone and it could have been worse. Even if it was worse, I would have had something to show for it. Art really is a window to the soul. Do everything you can to keep that window open to at least yourself and don't let anything snuff out your light. Taking things slowly really helps, I've found, especially when it's hard to be in the moment because it hurts and you're scared and alone. Take some deep breaths, do what you can, and you'll be surprised how things turn out around the corner.

you are absolutely right, not much gives me as much comfort and joy as art does for me, I think if we were all encouraged to engage with our artistic side more we would all be better off. It doesn’t fix everything, but it can help put things at peace even just for a little bit.

You are so right. Being able to exercise creativity is such an important thing, and too many of us, as adults in this capitalist hell society, don't give ourselves time to do it.
