They are all musical geniuses. The signals Twinkie gives with her fingers and eyes and how they pick up on it. And how they can guess who is about to do what and how to add to it… I heard Dorinda wasn’t even there for rehearsal for this performance and still they made this performance amazing as always
I've long thought Twinkie is an underreatwd genius. In her teens and 20s she was an unmatched vocalist, considered the queen of the organ, doing the groups vocalist arrangements, AND writing their songs. Practically everything Karen can do vocally, Twinkle in her prime could do also.
The reason why the crowd started cheering at 7:41 is because at 7:33 they began doing a slow version of the melody from the song Flashlight by Parliament lol
Based on the number of Clark sisters videos you’ve reacted to, I would say you were in love with the Clark sisters. Nothing wrong with that. These are some truly talented women. They were well trained by their mother who was an accomplished singer songwriter herself. She was also a choir Director. She taught her girls well. When the Clark sisters came out in the 70s, they literally changed gospel music. Their signature song was you brought the sunshine. It was so different from any gospel music prior to that.
It’s the record company that decides what songs make it on the album. Keep in mind this was Karen’s first solo project, but if Karew was founded back then, this surely would’ve made it on the CD.
LOOKING To Get THERE is a good one I'm sure you would enjoy. Dorinda leads it. She really knows how to drive a song! You asked me to remind you. I'm excited to see what you think.
Yes!!! Dorinda Grace Clark-Cole is my favorite!!! She totally owns Looking to Get There, from The Clark Sisters: One Last Time Live when they are all looking like Barbie dolls. Just wow!!!

Jesus brought the sunshine and so do the Clark Sisters!
So you definitely have to listen to original version of this song. They originally did this song in 1980.
