The Meteor that Gremmy spawned is not only bigger but more powerful than Madaras 2 meteors. When Madara spawned his meteors it was basically a HUGE rock being dropped on the battlefield, no force at all just dropped. Gremmys meteor was BIGGER and ontop of that it was moving with FORCE/kinetic energy behind it. like a baseball being thrown at full force compared to someone just dropping a baseball in place. Also, this fight loses value to a viewer if they dont have the FULL context, especially of Kenpachi, this was his Shikai reveal for the first time. HUGE moment right there.
The reason Gremmy lost to himself is because kenpachi was so much of a monster that in gremmys mind he thoight of him as a monster which made him stronger then himself which was his downfall, in the heat of battle gremmy couldn’t help but imagine kenpachi being able to beat him

His abilities is a double edged sword if u show no signs from the jump of beating gremmy u wont beat him cause he wont imagine u beating him in any way. But the moment u tank his attacks put him in danger about 2-3 times u cant lose against him cause everything he does to make himself unharmable all u need to do is say out loud i am strong enough to cut u and even if he may not think it he will imagine it because it has happened before. Thats the main reason kenpachi beat him he kept on imagining kenpachi being stronger than him. So in the end if ur gonna always think someone is stronger than u all u can do is imagine becoming as strong as kenpachi but in that moment is where u lose because u just thought that kenpachi cant lose unless u are him.
Thats why luffy imagination once he learns the true nature of his fruit will be better than gremmys cause whatever gremmy thinks will come true. But its different for luffy as its not whatever he thinks its whatever he wants to happen or believes he can do.

Gremmy was very powerful he was just inexperienced I think this was his first actual fight so his battle iq not the highest

There was a limit to what he can imagine based on like how much stuff you can think of at one time so he had to choose what to forget and what to remember. But every time he tried to become strong it wasn’t strong enough and he pushed his limit that his body could not handle 😂 so he basically killed himself

Gremmy created the outerspace that is full of stars and galaxys (its explained in the light novel) and Kenpachi cut it💀 Both of them solos naruto and one piece no diff
He didnt create outer space he just put kenpachi in a bubble surrounded by the outer space already in the world. Just like how he didnt create the meteor he just directed one from outerspace to hit kenpachi.
And as u saw kenpachi didnt slice outspace he sliced the barrier that was created. So he is in a dome of space. And he got to the wall of the barrier and broke it. Stop trying to make a it seem like he can split dimensions
