Now they need to come out with a stronger cnc module and stronger brackets to enable faster cutting/carving. Would be nice to add in liquid cooling so we can cut metals also. I'd love to be able to cnc aluminum at least.
Is the motor the only real limit, or can the frame "take it" ? Aluminium machining would be amazing.
a trick : you can watch series at Flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching lots of of movies recently.

I think liquid cooling is only for steel, other metals are not needed
I would love to invest more into the "ecosystem" after I have enjoyed my short time with the A350 so far but at these prices for such limited additional functionality maybe I am better off buying a resin printer or something else.

You need to ptovide more information on the 3D pritning on rotary axis as shown in time 2.22 of the video. I contacted your suport team and they have no idea! We merely purchased the machine for this purcpos but seems there is no support or option on this feature shown in the video promotion.
I love the rotary module but I feel like you left a lot of space for the snapmaker 2.0 A350. Couldn't you make the rotary module a little taller so you could cut stuff a little thicker than 68 mm?
Just make a spacer block....
i´ll buy three of them. Two for 4 axis and bewteen the two another for 5 axis XD. By the way, how about 5 axis module? :D

Yes but only on non-transparent ones.
Are there any plans to upgrade the power of the laser (40W) or the strength of the router(working aluminium) to allow for working on other materials and thurs expand the potential money earning potential?
The laser power will be upgraded to 8W, not so high as 40W. But we will make the CNC module you mentioned, which will have a higher spindle speed be able to work with aluminium.
for a 40w you would need a co2 laser. not a diode.
to a engineer this is hardcore porn, I bet any person in that industry couldn't beat this porn
I plan to eventually add this to my A350. I am currently learning 3d printing and CNC design software so at this point it's so far out of my skillset I won't order it. Once I feel comfortable with the cnc module and using it, I will invest in this.

What is the ease of mastering the use of this add-on? Is it intuitive? Steep learning curve? I'm considering adding this to my 2.0 but not sure about ease of use.
We offer Snapmaker Luban 4-axis software support, as well as features of Origin Assistant (CNC) and Auto Focus (Laser) on the touchscreen. And like for all snapmker products, we will make video tutorials of both CNC and laser functions. So it's going to be quite easy to get started.

I was looking forward to this, it looks so cool but at this price I cannot justify to buy one :/ ... and those dimensions for A250 are just so tiny ... im reading without tailstock it can be more - can somebody explain for which usecase is tailstock needed and how much?
Anyways I have to pass on this :/ and hope there will be 30+% winter sale or something after few years I suppose. Hopefully multimaterial/dual extruder will be more affordable.
Same problem here. Asked the support if the A350s Module will be limited to the A350 via software or if it is possible to use the bigger A350s module with the A250s machine. The dimensions for the A250s module are just too small for the new usage and this price. The difference in cost is so little.
Got an answer from Support: "Yes, the A350 rotary module can be used on the A250 machine. But if you have an A250 enclosure, the A350 rotary module cannot be placed in an A250 enclosure. The software won't prevent this.".
I see, thx for info ... i have that enclosure but its good to know. At first I kinda expected it will not be compatible because of mounting holes or something.

Snapmaker 2.0 can't work with metal now. It will be able to with the upcoming higher power CNC module.

Can this be used to cut the pockets for in inlays in custom pool cues?
Theoretically yes, but a pool cue could be too long and heavy for the rotary module to hold tightly.
When will this be available in the Snapmaker EU Shop?

If it was capable of machining aluminium, it would be great. Since it can't it is just a very expensive toy for making figurines :D
Or even with just MDF you can still do stuff, may not be for your usecase, but to call it a figurine maker is a bit of an oversimplification imo
