Wow, things have really changed since I was young. Back in the late ‘70s I took a flight on United from Ontario to Chicago. I was one of three passengers in coach. Still the least-crowded flight that I’ve ever been on.
Also, the best service I ever had since the flight crew was bored. 😂 They gave me two extra dinners for free.

Tickets, and even car rental to/from ONT are little more expensive. But it’s an easy airport to drive in/out, security isn’t too crazy. And even Aeromexico flies out from there.

It’s still very easy to drive in/out of. I have noticed TSA wait times are getting longer. Got to give yourself an extra 20-30 minutes to be safe now. But still worth the extra few $ for the convenience.
