    I had my home surveyed before I bought it. Why would anyone not spend less than 1% of the price pf a home?

      Where i'm from, if I buy a property I can demand to have a survey made and both myself and the seller needs to pay the bill (50/50), and we can both do some "accountant magic" and have it tax exempt.
      Only if the last official survey was done I belive it's 4 or 5 years before the sale, then the old results can be used instead.

    There is racism in all cultures throughout the world. We all need to stop the racism and bullying, and it will be an uphill battle.

      racism comes from fear. Fear of the unknown. And that fear is about how different folks are from the racist. Along with the belief that the racist's folks are superior to the other races.

    The last lady just needs to TELL THE FRIEND. He’s been getting every single thing he wanted on a trip for free, the hosts have NEVER complained to HIM, or asked him for money. Why would he think he needs to start?
    People need to stop thinking being clear is being rude. They were trying to be “polite” by being vague about how they felt, and it’s biting their ass AND their wallet!

    If the 'friend' can't take a hint, be blunt and tell them to GTFO and not come back! Grow a pair or you're going to be treated like a rug & they'll continue to walk all over you.

      Because they are like I used to be, a people pleaser, and they don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. I'm still like that to a point, then I forget how they feel about it and just tell them outright.

    And the second story it probably could have been resolved better. But, Nancy should not have had that expansion built where it was. Any competent contractor would have known to get an easement or something else in writing? Not a handshake. And it should make someone from the county question his other building projects.

    Yeah, I can't shake the feeling that the OP in the second story is actually the asshole here. Like, not to say that Nancy was in the right, but she was correct on the fact that they could have reached an agreement first, like she actually paying him for a transfer of the disputed land to her, considering her house of like 12 years was there.
    Like, don't get me wrong, OP is withing his rights but there is been legally right, and there's also been morally right and been satisfied that part of your neighbor's home is been torn down when she wasn't even unpleasant to you... that's telling to me.
    Dunno, I think I would have been more understanding if an attempt at negotiation was made first and if it fell through then a lawsuit. OP took half a month to actually notice so it wasn't like the situation was damaging to his living situation

    Words have meanings. Pronouns have meanings. The absolute lack of proper use of pronouns makes it very difficult to understand what the moderator wishes to communicate.

    • @hadencross

      Just because someone wants to apologise, doesn't mean you have to accept the apology. I love how people get all righteous and demand someone to forgive their traumatiser. Stupse. Foolishness. Amara didn't apologise until her own life was nuked. She needs Ops public forgiveness, if not she would have apologised years ago. Anyway. Keep that energy when it happens to you or your children.

      @@hadencross Why should Nancy even want forgiveness from a petty person? As far as i should know, OP should have had his part of the land that Nancy built on seized by the city as a punishment for their pettyness.

    • @ForteGX100
      @ForteGX100 3 місяці тому +1

      I agree, in principle, but it was Amara herself that invited her to the reunion, meaning that for all that time, she had the means to apologize way, way before, and only did so when she suddenly became very, very sorry. That the consequences were so severe is more on the people she surrounded herself by and her family, but the matter of forgiveness, it may be right and best to forgive, it's also understandable to not, and have her own consequences later.
