I'm 54, and my husband and I are deeply worried about our future. Gas and food prices seem to rise daily, and what little savings we had have been drained just trying to keep up with the skyrocketing cost of living. We can get by, but getting ahead feels impossible. It's disheartening to see decades of hard work undone by a system that seems stacked against us. Now, with retirement on the horizon, things look even bleaker. News reports predict record numbers of retirees struggling due to inflation, reduced benefits, and shrinking pensions. It's heartbreaking to think that after 30+ years of nonstop work, so many are left with so little. My heart goes out to anyone retiring in this crisis. We deserve better than this.
That's really impressive! If you don’t mind sharing, I would love to get some details about your investment advisor. I’m looking to make some changes to my finances this year and would appreciate any guidance on taking the right steps.
Thank you for sharing about your Invest ment advisor. I’ll definitely look into reaching out. I’ve come to realize that trying to rely only on savings and handle everything on my own hasn’t been working as well as I had hoped.
I searched for the name and found his website, where I saw his qualifications and testimonials that looked impressive, with many positive reviews. I reached out to him to discuss my financial goals. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
I see myself as a hybrid of a few. There are some habits that I have that I think have served me well: Having no debt; investing and saving a set amount from every paycheck; and living below my means. Stll taken a holiday every few years to Malaysia, but living a frugal lifestyle. Like a tortoise - slow but steady. Happy New Year to the two of you. Best wishes in 2025.
Which Financial Track are you on?
Good news is, it's never too late to change tracks!
