Your vlogs are truly peace of art, so peaceful and beautiful And useful ! Truly thank you for sharing 😊. I have one question : how long did your trip last ? To be able to do and see all the things you did. Thank you.
thank you! my trip lasted about 7 days (this is including the almost 2 days of travel time i had to do to get there!) - 1 night in amman - 2 nights in wadi rum - 2 nights in petra :)
When we watch travel content on UA-cam, we usually take a lot of time to see UA-camrs' heads & feet. Sometimes the footage is shaky.😵💫 But watching your vlogs is so relaxing. I can finally enjoy the views.👍 Love the way you make videos. And thank you for making my day a little brighter.💚
thank you! I went in march :) usually they said it’s not too cold, but when i went it was raining and snowing (they said this is a rare occurrence though 😂) as for shoes, i recommend anything that has grip at the bottom - if you’re going to climb up to the monastery, the stairs aren’t really stairs at certain points and could get super slippery!
Hello, first of all, thanks for sharing your experience, I have found your video very easy to watch and listen to and quite interesting. I was thinking of making a trip to Jordan and I would like to know if you booked a tour with a company or if you rent a car? Also, which month of the year did you go? Thanks.
thank you! i went in march 2022, and organized my trip using a local tour agency from my home country (thailand), where the thai agency did all the contacting with the tour agency in jordan. I also went with family so they arranged a car and driver with a local guide for us!
I visited mid-march and it was actually quite cold (went down to about 0-1 degrees celsius and snowed), so I’m assuming December will be colder. Definitely pack a windproof jacket (I forgot mine) for the desert and lightweight clothes that are suitable for trekking. Not sure how old your kids are but hiking shoes with a good grip would be good too if you are planning to climb all the way up to the monastery! :) In Wadi Rum and Petra, do bring along a water bottle and some snacks. Although there are cafes/restaurants on the way and locals offering tea, it’s quite a trek. I brought my snacks from Thailand (rice crackers, sweets, cookies and energy bars) so that I could bring them along with me to the different hikes/jeep tours! :)
thanks for this video. did you go solo? i';m heading there in sept and will be partial solo... excited but dont know much about the local culture so doing as much research as i can!
Thank you so much for your sharing, awesome work! Could you tell me the name or website of your Wadi Rum local tour? Cause we will go there and wonder which one is suit for us. Your dining seems like so cool there!
I booked through a Thai travel agency so they were the ones that contacted the local tour agency in Jordan! However, the hotel that we stayed in (Sun City Camp) offers these tours :)
A wonderful video. Very informative too. I had a couple of questions. In Wadi Rum, did you organize your jeep tours and camel ride through Sun City camp? How long was the jeep tour and the camel ride? Did you tour both the white and the red desert or just one? How did you get around Jordan - rented car or did you hire a car and driver or did you just use Public transport? Thanks you.
Thank you so much! Here are my answers to your questions: - I organized the jeep tour through the local agency and camel ride through Sun City Camp (but I asked the tour guide and he said price and itinerary-wise, it’s more or less the same) - The jeep tour was about 2.5-3 hours - but this also depends on where you decide to go and how much climbing you decide to do. - We toured both I think, the jeep tour was quite flexible though, so if you have particular places you are interested in, you could ask them whether it’s on the way so you could make a stop there :) - The local tour agency hired a car and driver for us!
@@cyberfan1 unfortunately, I don’t actually know the name of the local tour agency since everything was planned through the travel agency I contacted back in Thailand, but I think contacting Sun City Camp would be easiest since the jeep tours all seem quite similar - I highly recommend the sunset jeep tour, and if possible go for a private tour and they might take you to less crowded spots :)
thank you so much! i’m not quite sure about the local agent as i let the travel agent from my home country contact the local agents that they work with :)
Your shoes look like for winter.. Was not it too hot for them? (I am asking because I will visit jordan in September and I wanna have proper clothes for dessert
