Congratulations, little Mama! I’m right behind you, due to give birth to my first baby (also a girl!) on July 22! I hope you and your family enjoy long, happy, fulfilling lives together. 🫂☺️
Congratulations Ashley! 💝 Soak up every single second cause she’ll change almost daily at first. Then you’ll blink and she’ll be asking for you keys and you’ll wonder where the time went. God bless you! 😉💖💖💖
One of the many things I love about you is that you consistently keep the patient clean. Another words, you don’t continuously drain it with just a few pieces of gauze.
@@mabelcapello5509That's true, but because her cyst is infected the anaesthesia doesn't work as well as it normally would. Local anaesthetic is an acid based solution and it works well when the skin isn't infected, but when there is an infection present the skin becomes acidic too, so it's very difficult to numb it properly. Dr Butler is so kind and gentle with his patients though.
Aw, the poor lass! Double whammy with being that far along AND a blown cyst 😢. Congratulations on your baby girl, mum! Hoping you’re feeling loads better. Dr. Butler, you did such a phenomenal job. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you, Dr. Butler. You did well, Mama. Bless you, I can relate to the pain you endured. I was about 30wks along when I was supposed to be on bed rest but couldn’t bear a dirty window. I was nesting… the pane snapped & I cut three fingers. The doc wanted an x-ray, which I couldn’t bear bc I had two high risk pregnancies. The techs tripled the cover & considerably reduced any exposure to my youngest baby daughter. I had to have stitches & bc I was high risk pregnancy, the little anesthesia didn’t work well. At least they healed relatively well before I delivered. My baby girl is now a 26yo young woman. You will do great. Good luck. Ps: after your new baby is born, remember to rest when she rests. It’s tough sometimes but you’ll be thankful you did.
Dr. Butler is one of the best doctors on UA-cam! His attention to detail and explanation of medical procedures are second to none, his bedside manner is fantastic, and he's very serious about giving the best possible care to the patient! He's certainly not in it just for the money, I wished all of our medical professionals shared his professionalism and ethics!
This is my situation presently (I’m not pregnant, however). My consultation is in a few days and I’ll get my infected cyst checked. All you can do is hope the Dr. is kind, gentle and great at what he/she does. I’m scared, but watching these videos are giving me courage 🙂.
The fact that she seems like she was shaking her foot or leg to control her pain, makes me realize how horrible it must be for her. I’m sorry she had to go through that. But, the good thing is that she got the right doctor.
What a gentle and comforting procedure. Obviously the anesthesia would not work as well for her because it could affect the baby. Glad she got some relief from that drainage. Hoping for a safe and healthy delivery for her as well.
Dr Butler, I can only imagine how difficult this procedure was for both of you. Ma’am, you were so tolerant of the pain, one of those necessary evils. I hope it relieved your pain. Good luck with your sweet baby💖. Dr Butler, from all the years watching you work, I know it is difficult for you to hear a patient experiencing pain, but the Dr knows it’s her path to healing. Very nicely done!🩵🩵
Ive had an abscess before, way bigger than that. So I know the pain, and she is did a great job handling the pain. You were so kind and so quick with how you drained it. ❤ great job!
Wow, I can feel the pain, so much pus came out, will be probably painful for a couple more days and then time to heal. It already looks so much better and the pressure is off. Great job Dr. Thanks to the patient for sharing and Congratulations on your pregnancy, hope all goes well.
She's just a couple of months away from a pain that will make this seem like a leisurely stroll in the park 😂. Bless her resilient spirit🙏. And yes...I've weathered both of these storms. I've faced both of these challenges. Given a choice, I'd opt for this over labor anytime😂. The only pain that surpassed labor was when I dislocated my ankle. I've truly encountered a wide spectrum of pain in my life😢. But remember, she'll feel significantly better by tomorrow. I recommend some extra strength Tylenol tonight, dear 🙏.
Well done on both of your parts, difficult for the woman being pregnant and for Dr Butler not being able to deliver the anaesthetic he would have liked, so difficult situation for both parties. I bet she felt relief after some of the cyst contents were evacuated. Again, very well done to both!!
I feel for her. I had an abscess on my hip from an injection. It got about twice that size before I went to the emergency room and they had to sedate me to get it all out and they said even with the sedation they had to hold me down because I was moving so much. My advice is don't let it get very big because it hurts like hell.
Dr Butler u are an incredible doctor. I wish more doctors are as caring and thorough as u are. I hope this lady is much better now and has a healthy baby ❤
Dr Butler, you are the best. I wish you lived in the DC area in the US. YOU have the greatest bedside manner & are so technically qualified. Always enjoy your presentations 💜🙏
What a trooper! Thanks for being efficient and doing your best to keep her comfort in mind as much as possible, it’s really reassuring to see from a possible patients POV eheheh
Do you have to change the amount of numbing administered because of pregnancy? Very interesting case. I enjoy the explanations you give for each of your videos. Thanks!
This was me, I had a beautiful healthy baby girl shortly afterwards. Much love. Good job doc
Congratulations!
I’m so happy for you!

Brave girl. I could feel her pain. I hope she’s feeling better and has a beautiful healthy baby! Congratulations 🎉

Un poco más de anestesia no afecta al bebé,le hubiera preguntado a un anestesiólogo

Poor woman.
You did a great job, Dr. Butler.
It's just an inflamed cyst, why do you call her poor?
No lava la superficie,no saca la cadena,es muy patético,no estoy de acuerdo c esa técnica quirúrgica

You'll do well August. This should be pretty straight forward.
Everything go alright?

I was noticing how white her fingers were from gripping so hard.
I imagine she could not use anesthesia not only because its infected but cuz it might affect the baby
What a gentle and comforting procedure. Obviously the anesthesia would not work as well for her because it could affect the baby. Glad she got some relief from that drainage. Hoping for a safe and healthy delivery for her as well.

Nice work doc. Hopefully she’ll feel more comfortable. Additionally, I hope she has a safe and healthy delivery.

I keep thinking how uncomfortable to lie on yr belly while pregnant on a hard bed

I’ve seen several of these neck abscess videos and I find it strange that people are allowed to keep their jewelry on.
Bless that woman's heart and kudos to Doc for a caring job.

Looked so much better in a few minutes of draining. Awesome

Bless her heart. These inflamed cysts hurt like sin. Thanking your brave patient for sharing. Congratulations on having a girl ! 💕💕💕
I have had many such cysts in my teenage and young adult years. The pain is horrific and the relief of drainage is heavenly.
Dr Butler u are an incredible doctor. I wish more doctors are as caring and thorough as u are. I hope this lady is much better now and has a healthy baby ❤
I thought with cysts you have to remove the sack or they just come back? This looks more like an abscess?
Oh my that looks really sore glad you were able to fix her up that poor woman I am sure she was suffering with that.
I’ve had several infected/inflamed cysts drained and the packing the second day is very painful. I’m happy to hear that you no longer do that.
Poor lady. Being pregnant is hard enough on its own and having a cyst like that is hard enough on its own. Bad combo.
She is so brave. Well done Mama!
Bless her heart! She did great ! So did Dr. !
Bless her heart for having to go through this whilst pregnant too, I hope it's better for her though! 💖
The way she got through that, “I & D,” shows that she’s been preparing for labor! 😅
Thank you, mama, for sharing this experience!
Excellent bedside manner. Such a professional and sensitive skilled doctor!
Oh I can feel her pain! To have all that done when its so infected and sensitive and numbing doesnt fully work. She really toughed it out!
Glad to see new stuff coming from you Dr! I love the way you explain and teach! Your channel rocks!!
Bless her heart. She's so brave

That's 1 tough lady! Hopefully your daughter & you are both thriving, good luck for the future from the UK
Super Dr. Butler 😊
This doctor is GOOD. this is the first time I've seen numbing meds were the doctor didn't stick the needle damn near to the bone
Doctor Butler, you have the best local anesthetic administration technique.
Poor lady! Hope you are feeling better and that your sweet baby girl is here safely.
Oh good. He did pack it. Thought he would. That packing is amazing at what it captures.
Out of all of the different you tube videos I’ve watched this comment community is the most sympathetic and sweetest!! I love this comment community ❤

That had to really hurt this gal, hurt me watching. As customary, Dr. Butler, excellent job!!
Abcesses are the worst. I have a cyst on my scalp which I must get seen to one of these years - do not want it to get infected.
Do you have to change the amount of numbing administered because of pregnancy? Very interesting case. I enjoy the explanations you give for each of your videos. Thanks!
Not usually.
Generally, no.
“Do you know what you’re having?”
“A puppy, I hope!”
She did great, I'm impressed.
Such a great video. Doctor you are the best!
