My stepfather and I worked for Red Lobster. I worked there for a few years during college and he worked for the company for 41 years. He managed locations, opened up new restaurants and took care of everything. Red Lobster put him through hell the last two years. They cut his hours, micromanaged him and just pushed him aside. A lawyer representing Red Lobster stated the company wanted him to retire and he would be paid $5,000 as a settlement. After 40 years $5,000 is all you are worth? Eventually, my stepdad just retired without their settlement. A big slap in the face. Well, karma comes back to haunt Red Lobster. Shame on you!

Unfortunately that is how big corporations treat their employees, forget loyalty. I had the same treatment with a company, saw the writing on the wall but left and went on to another much better company that treated their employees like they cared, I retired from them in 2021. Those two companies were Winn Dixie 1995-2003 and Publix 2003-2021. Now, we know who has sold out and who is thriving.

Cut it out! "Endless Shrimp" is NOT putting Red Lobster out of business. The fact that they are no longer the only gig in town when it comes to seafood is! A gazillion other seafood restaurants have popped up since the Pandemic IS their issue. Nearly every large city has a new version of a seafood restaurant such as Juicy Crab which is major here in Georgia. Even Mom & Pop seafood restaurants have eaten into Red Lobsters market share. That's the REAL deal with their woes.

@@susannpatton2893This may be a bit random, but I watch professional eating competitions and most of the folks participating say bigger people tend to eat less food. I'm not sure how true this is, but as a bigger person myself I can only eat two plates at any buffet, and they are normal helpings not overflowing. My husband is also large and tends to eat about 3 plates. However my dearest friend cannot keep weight on for anything (around 110lbs) and she'll consume 4-6 plates on average at any buffet.

I don't know why people continue to pay for unhealthy fast food. You can save 70% of your money eating asian food dishes. It is very rare that i buy anything at the store.
We have a very large supply of diverse vegetables and raise fish. We donate 90% of our food to feed those in need and it doesn't cost anything to grow. We have free
solar energy grids and create our own free hydrogen supply. Unlimited free fresh water, power, hydrogen, food, electric vehicles. I don't understand why people work for money like slaves.
Yes i am a millionaire but i live modestly and share 90% of what i have with those who need it. That is how the world suppose to operate. Capitalism is what corrupts the minds
of the people into slavery and oppression over cost of living. We only spend maybe 30 min a day working. Communities help each other without expectation of anything in return.
We help thousands of people every week and it doesn't cost anything. When society stops working for money and just contributes with the skills they enjoy doing life becomes easier.
A true moneyless society sharing and rationing resources to meet the needs of the people. A humanitarian society created without capitalism has no need for money. This is how the
world should be. Technology and automated industries can create and distribute all the basic needs of humanity with very little human workers. People should be thriving in culture and
learning what they are passionate about working a career they love not out of necessity and missing out on life and joy. We waste so much resource on this planet with non essential jobs
just to make money in a competitive economy. Waste of time and causes oppression for the people. Every year over 1 trillion dollars of food is wasted or destroyed. That is about 1.3 billion tons a year.
That is 1/3 of all food supply on the planet gone and you wonder why food is so expensive. 90% of the world is working, driving and stressing for no damn reason just to make money that isn't
really needed. Wake up and realize your all being manipulated by the government, religion and capitalist that control your lives. It is a sad reality but the truth. It won't stop until people
start changing to a better way of life. Honestly i live off less than 30.00 a month with a family of 14 people and i feed over 1000 families every single week for free. My passion
is showing people there is another way of life they are missing out on and it cost nothing to truly live. With proper planning you can do anything you want. It is the governments
    that have to change.
