I can see more people showed up for the Pokémon Presents than the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase
Well yeah but that's because it was announced five days before it happened, giving people time to plan for when it would come. Whereas the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase happened/announced nearly 24 hours before it even occurred, not giving a lot of people time to even watch it or show up on that day. If Nintendo Directs were planned like Pokemon presents did, then I'm sure that more people would have showed up and such.

Depends. This was a lot better tnan getting a lazy remake with chibies. The bad thing about gen 5 is that there is nothing to fix. A remake may and probably will go wrong in several aspects. The days of good remakes like ORAS and Soul Silver are gone.

Edit: I was the 3rd person on line, so thankfully I was right at the front, but when I tried to look at the line to potentially get streetpass tags, I was shocked at its length and how it looped around itself once

It’s been 10 years since I last played a Pokémon game, (Omega Ruby) but this does put a smile on my face…
Proof that Pokémon is not only for kids..... It can enjoyed by anyone
So nostalgic seeing these again, I remember before the pandemic seeing these for smash bros

Mega evolution, the best gimmick the franchise has ever made
it's the symbol of Mega Evolution~ Mega Evolution is a temporary form that a Pokemon can take to make it stronger, and Mega Pokemon had unique designs. But only a few select Pokemon were given Mega Forms, only 48 out of (back then) 700+. And Mega Evolution was never used again in any future games after generation 6 (2013-2015). But now it's coming back!
Addition: Mega Evolution is a fan favorite aspect of Pokemon games, and many people miss it.
It has to do with getting more lore on a legendary Pokémon that we know nothing about.
That and ZA backwards is AZ a king long ago in the region that almost destroyed Kalos with an ultimate weapon and from the ashes mega evaluation was born in the region from millions of pokemon energy.

The game will be coming out as launch title for Switch 2
We’re not getting a Nintendo Switch 2 because Nintendo never announce their new console. Please don’t believe in those clickbait videos and articles because it makes everyone want the new Nintendo Switch system. Like just wait until further notice for the new Nintendo system. It’s better to just play games on your actual Nintendo Switch system by grinding more hours or beating the game with a hundred percent completion, and be grateful instead of bringing your hopes up
At the end of the Pokémon Legends Z-A trailer it said it’s going to be on the Nintendo Switch not Nintendo Switch 2
@@ThisGuyDannyyythere's a huge difference between articles from entertainment/video game outlets and media focused on corporations. They care about the business and informing investors not building artificial hype- those outlets are reporting it was delayed to 2025. They aren't fan boys and have no reason to create artificial hype

I think they are finally listenning us: "Megas return" and "Kalos lore" and obviously Zygarde. And nothing announced for this year so probably they are going to work better on this game

The Nintendo NY store in New York City. I was lucky enough to go there myself last summer (I’m from California so it’s far away) and I walked around in this same area and saw the same big screen. It’s surreal to watch these reactions now.

I will say, slightly disappointed that it seems like we are skipping BW/2 for X and Y continuation. I don't have an issue with X and Y as its my favorite modern generation, but I know a lot of people were looking forward to BW getting either a remake or continuation.

I think it isnt skipping since its a legends game and everyone knows gen 6 has too many unfinished storyline. And pokemon Z is patented and copyrighted by pokemon way back gen 6 release.. so it has come to this.. everyone is praying for no chibi remake and we got it. Pokemon Z is just a bonus

Its not skipping, it takes a while to get remakes look at the gap between ORAS and DP remakes
They're not skipping anything. Pokemon Legends didn't establish any patters, as we literally have ONE game.
They would be skipping Gen 5 if this was a REMAKE of Gen 6, which it's not. They'll probably announce the Gen 5 remakes later.
