I bought a set of Michelin Energy Saver Plus in 205 55 16 V 94 way back in 2015. They have 85,000 km and still 3.8mm left. I use them April to Nov and swap to a set of cross climates for winter. They came with 7mm tread new. So think about that. 3.2mm of wear for 85,000 km. 26,500 km per mm of wear. Over the years they got harder and feel more responsive. This year 2022 will be my 8th season on the same set of tyres. I think they have potential for well over 100,000 km. Maybe 120,000 is within reach if I take them all the way to 2mm. I don't know why Michelin always has the lowest treadwear warranty and is the most expensive as well. Michelin Tour has 45 or 50,000 mile warranty and around 540 treadwear and Bridgeton Turanza Dura Track 80,000 mile warranty and 800 treadwear. I’ve bin on Michelin’s for 20 years now and the best part about them is you can wear the tire down to nothing and it rides like a new tire. No shaking, pulling, weird shimmying. Michelin’s just lasts and keep their awesome ride until they are totally worn out. They are always quite to. I bought cars with Good Yeas on them , and now have a MDX with Continentals. The good years were the worst. Looked new and had a sideways shimmy and pulled like crazy. Had to swap them for a set of ltx’s. I got 65,000 out of my Uniroyals without even one issue. Good riding, quiet and excellent MPG. No Michelin tire out there would come close. The Michelin Primacy Tour AS are currently on an SUV I just bought. Hard riding and very noisy tires. Hard to hear the radio an 70mph. Will be changing them very soon.
@@jzm6403 this seems to be a reoccurring issue on cars that don’t have the tires set up properly or it’s due to the size of the rims or the type of car you have. I drive a brand new AMG Mercedes GLE, and it floats along the highway with 0 road noise. Then again, it’s a Mercedes. It’s going to ride well regardless. And it was installed by the dealership, which I know was a very good job considering it’s a luxury dealership. It all depends really, don’t expect a Toyota to drive like a rolls Royce with new tires.
@@user-um3fx2vk8r Actually I bought a new Toyota Avalon Limited in 2010 and another in 2016. Both these cars floated down the highway and had 0 tire issues. Both had Michelin tires but not the Primacy model. Also a 2022 Camry that rode awesome as well. I've had several cars that rode like the old Cadillac's, and none were Mercedes.
@@jzm6403 but it’s still a Toyota lol. It’s a night and day difference being in a luxury car then getting into a Toyota, Honda, etc.
@@user-um3fx2vk8r Says you. I still get a great ride, $60,000 plus less than a Mercedes, MUCH better gas mileage, and will outlast the Mercedes. I could never be happy in a Mercedes as I'm sure you'd never be happy in a Toyota. I'll still have mine in 10 years. Will you?
Anyone can read a list of available tires...
Anyone can cry me a river
Car has 50 / 50 weight distribution and 4wd so no need to rotate them. BMW turbo with 240 hp. I live in the countryside, 50% of my driving is 30 to 50 mph and the rest is highway at 80 to 140mph. Not much town driving.
Ok, all are awesome, however when retired you can’t afford these. Just the fact. Would love to purchase 4 (2015) Nissan Rogue
you retired too soon then
I have more spending money since I retired than we had before retiring. I put a lot into retirement accounts.
i need new tires i’m listening i have cracks on mine Nissan rouge 2012

@@jef8898 seu ingles é muito bom, top !
@@tsunetosan thank i sir. U r more than welcome
Why does know body talk about Pirellis.
Cause they suck
I order Yokohama avid gt but it’s upset me they are made in Philippine not USA
It's theory only. Put several tires on your car, drive the same road and let us hear the difference. I want to hear it myself
I don't know why Michelin always has the lowest treadwear warranty and is the most expensive as well.
Michelin Tour has 45 or 50,000 mile warranty and around 540 treadwear and Bridgeton Turanza Dura Track 80,000 mile warranty and 800 treadwear.
Looks like you pay more for the brand and don't get anything more than the other decent brands.
I can't understand what he is saying at 1 minute and 27 seconds. He says it will be a little bit more something?
The word was touring. It will be a little bit more touring.
Wow COOL

I like Michelin, but they have terrible tread life,
Then you NEED the Michelin DEFENDEr they have a 90,000 mile warranty and tread life-OH YES!
@@michaelsmith9308 They don't make the Defender anymore probably over a year now.
And I never seen a 90,000 mile rated tire.
You are going to pay allot for these name brand tires.. most people in covin-19 tine can Not afford!! Go for cooper and generals if you are a poor person
Here is the list from best to worst... You left out continental...
1 Michelin primacy
2 Bridgestone turanza
2 continental pro contact
Anything else is garbage
Le mieux performant se traduise: Best performing
Thanks! Will correct it! :)
Typical tire guys if you ask them about what is the quietest they immediately switch to talk about traction. I hoped I was going to see some decibel ratings, Nope !!!
typical internet comments :) propose an idea rather than crying about it.
Always Michelin. Best out there.
Why do you like it? :)
The conti on my MDX are not to bad but the transmit sooo much pavement noise and vibration through the steering wheel it’s actually surprising. Will change them to what you showed on this vid. Hope they have my size.
Lucky Goose ya sure I have primacy mxm4 and I’m worn out and the ride sucks
Michelin is and has always been the best Amen
it would be nicer if you spoke english and had anything to say but i guess this works
He does speak English just fine. You must have something wrong with you.
good year maxlife is a scam . it cost almost twice other tires just to give you a little more mileage!!
h-over & h-hover 😁

Hey talk English please thanks buddy
How about you do a French video about tires and send it to me
He does speak English. I'm not sure what's wrong with you but, I can understand him perfectly.
