Val's been in the pirate killing business... and business is good. 😂 Also, you no longer have a head of the household guard, as Val vacated when he became the Chancellor.
I don't think the four year old is in charge to be fair :D I don't really take Monford as a 'forge his own kingdom' type of guy. Certainly one who likes to be in a position of power, but not ambitious enough to paint such a big target on his back like that I think.
Others have already mentioned work-arounds for the pirate territories, but if you do end up having pirate vassals, you can always think of them as privateers. If I understand correctly, they have the option of becoming feudal through a decision, much like tribal vassals (though I do not know if the AI is likely to take it without you switching over and doing it for them). Also, making Aurane the Lord of Bloodstone was absolutely the right call. It is his destiny!
Love the ways things have progressed after the chaos of the tourney. Going with a Dayne wife was a good move with their unique family history and features (not to mention they were another house loyal to the Targaryens in the past). In terms of big conflicts moving forward, I can definitely see Ned trying to push for Renly on the throne now that the truth is out in the open and given how he pushed so hard for Stannis’ claim in the series. I think this could be a cool set up for a major conflict against the Lannisters and their boy king.
You’ve got two daughter’s you got to find marriages for. That two more alliances you can get out of it don’t forget. Gulltown wouldn’t be a bad option it’s not too far and is a seafaring. Rosby might be a strong ally too it would definitely come in handy if you ever have to attack Kingslanding
Poor Mylenda, she was a good wife to Monford! Maybe she gave her blessing to remarry quickly? Or perhaps Malric was pushing things to make absolutely sure Driftmark stayed stable. Hopefully Lady Alyse will live a long while, and peacefully with Monford. Perhaps he'll find it charming that she seems to sword fight as a hobby? Maybe she admires him for his skill as a warrior! I agree with that other commenter, maybe if Viserys/Daenerys/a Blackfyre doesnt pop up in the next few years your character can maybe trace the lines back to Jon Snows true parentage. If anyone could uncover it its probably Malric! Oh and just one question, how did a girl inherit the Vale when she has brothers? Was there a a favtion war over there that forced an abdication? Would also love to see whats going on with Tyrion and Ned! Definitely looking forward to more! (Btw I LOVE your new wifes hair. Heres hoping she has a son with hair like that 😂🤞)
Witnesses also help protect children from diseases! Create/build a barony on bloodstone and make it the country capital to be able to keep the benefits of the county.
Love Monford. I am hoping for him to invest his Prestige into Diverge Cultures into: Bureaucratic Ethos, Blood of the Dragon, Beacon of Learning, Seafarers, Metalworkers, Sorcerous Metallurgy, and Warriors of Merit.
I really think you should get a vassal contract that has War Declaration Rights, Council Rights, and Palatinate Status. I would collect or fabricate a Strong Hook, and give up the highest Tax and Levies to ensure it. With that contract, you will effectively be a King in Power. While holding a Duke Title lol. Secondly, I think we should become a Duke. I think we should secure our De Jure Duchy and all titles in it's borders. Before we pursue the Iron Throne in any capacity. If we have a Palatinate Contract with War and Council Rights. We will have so much power, it actually benefits us to remain a direct vassal to the Iron Throne, at least for a time. I'm sorry for being such a a spaz lol I just got excited when I saw you actually read all my posts. I think after collecting the Galant Perk, the focus would be most strongly invested in collecting the Avaricious and Scholar Perks. Making money, buying Holdings/Buildings/Men-at-arms, earning Development, and unlocking Tech becomes much more manageable with these two Perks. This is my pitch for a Tall RP, as opposed to a Wide RP. I would really like to Monford do a maxed out Uni Visit, with a Genius Court Tutor lol 🤙🏿🍻
I don't know if you put fan characters in your series. But if I could pitch for one it would be: Name: Mordin Redwyne Culture: Vinetown Age: 32 Diplomacy: 10 Martial: 14 Stewardship: 17 Intrigue: 1 Learning: 28 Prowess: 35 Court Jobs: Antiquarian, Architect, Tax Collector, Tutor, Master-of-Revels, Personal Champion (Knight Accolade: Master-of-Revels/Contender) Perks: Erudite Oracle, Gregarious, Ambitious, Calm, Herculean, Genius, Scholar, Avaricious, Rough Terrain Expert, Logistician, Aspiring Blademaster, Eager Reveler, One Eyed, Excommunicated, Disinherited, Irritable, Inapetitic, Dynastic Kinslayer, Murderer, Drunkard, Athletic, Novice Physician, Loyal Background: Mordin Redwyne; the disinherited 7th ducal son of Old Town. Merchant-Captain of the "Blue Rose", a trading vessel in the charge of the Redwyne Family. Mordin was a prolific captain known for his mastery of the Rough Northern and Barren Southern Channels. His swordsmanship in defense of his supplies, cargo, and crew; made "Redwyne" a name spoken in hushed reverence, amongst would be privateers. Robert's Rebellion saw Mordin have his ship conscripted and his crew commandeered. Payment for services rendered were to be made at the end of Roberts Tournament. His untimely death has left Mordin with no ship, no crew, and no coin. But having mastered the skills necessary to manage an Imperial Trading Company. Mordin made quick friends of Monford and his men, during the qualifiers. Having demonstrated himself to his would be Liege. Mordin would request an interview for the Court Positions of Master-of-Revels and Personal Champion.
I recognize the O.P.ness to Mordin Redwyne, but I did so intentionally. He's a reference to an in universe character while retaining my own spin lol. But the idea is he's a "Great Builder" or "Great Merchant" I would never suggest a character for the council, but tertiary Court Positions that often go unfilled. I will attempt to R.P. a character to fill it lol if you read all this you're aces!!! 🤙🏿🍻
If I might make a............Psychotic Suggestion. I believe Wun Wun is running around somewhere, and he has his own culture of 'Giant'. So.........What if you recruit, landed, gave cultural protections, and Cultural Hybridized to create a culture of Valyrian Giants?
If you wanted to convert the stepstones I believe it can be achieved by building a castle and making it the county capital, then it'll be feudal.
If you raise development to 10, they can adopt feudal ways through their liege. Coinage rights works.
Yes but it doesn't make sense for house Velaryon to do that in lore. That other suggestion is better imo
Val's been in the pirate killing business... and business is good. 😂
Also, you no longer have a head of the household guard, as Val vacated when he became the Chancellor.
Val definitely working to earn that castle! And yeah, I've now made Evetho our new Captain of the Guard, since Val is moving up in ranks.
RIP Stannis the Manis.
With a child king on the throne, going off to forge your own realm in the Stepstones makes all kinds of sense, whats a 4 year old gonna do? Say no?

I'm personally more of a Royce fan, but Gulltown is definitely a good ally. Particularly due to their proximity, wealth and military power.
Damn you really pulled a Stanis in this one
Love Aurene! hail pirate king

Her brother might have been born after Jon’s death potentially, if Luda was pregnant when it happened.
The small island near bloodstone is a single county and already a castle!
turtleback :)
loving the agot playthrough really entertaining to watch keep up the good work
This is the best ck3 roleplay I have ever seen
I actually love the decisions the AI is making.
Is Jon snow in this run? Or did he disappear into the sands of dorne?
He is actually!
There is also an event for him finding out his true lineage.
@@StrayKing if no Targaryen invades, finding a way for Jon to declare his heritage and helping him claim the iron throne is a path
I have been waiting for this one and i like the title of the episode
this is better then all game of thrones early series episodes god damn
Executing and Moving to the Dungeon gives the same amount of stress to forgiving characters fyi
Witnesses also help protect children from diseases!
Create/build a barony on bloodstone and make it the country capital to be able to keep the benefits of the county.
How dare someone murder Stannis the Mannis!
When aurane creates his cadet house I’d recommend changing it to Bloodwaters similar to Longwaters and incorporating red in the sigil
Cool idea!
Get rights to every bit of those islands and seed your family members!
Will you continue this series after Monford dies or are you planning on playing a new cahracter in this timeline? Either way I'm hooked.
Love Monford. I am hoping for him to invest his Prestige into Diverge Cultures into: Bureaucratic Ethos, Blood of the Dragon, Beacon of Learning, Seafarers, Metalworkers, Sorcerous Metallurgy, and Warriors of Merit.
He would be bringing back the Magic that made weapons like his sword. While progressing his Culture forward. Just my thoughts dig the series 🤙🏿🍻
Also, have you played with the "Great Peoples" Mod? It's a fun way of getting courtiers that are talented to spawn.

If you don’t mind me asking what are your pc specs? im thinking of getting a new pc and wondering if rtx 3060 10400f would be able to run ck3 agot mod
I’ve got an i5-15000 and a 3060ti, 16gb RAM and it usually runs… okay. It ls more of a RAM/CPU game, your graphics card is definitely good enough!
@@StrayKing THANK YOU FOR REPLYING!
I must be too greedy cause I'd have my daughter marry the new king
Couldnt u have potentially held out on remarrying in case a daenerys pops up? Jus sayin
