After all, Seongun hates her guts and doesn't trust anything she says or does, so listening to her and thereby expecting her advice to be helpful is stupid. Especially since Seongun is already aware of Sua's efforts to manipulate him through Yuni. But since Yuni isn't genuinely in love with Seongun anyway, I guess the expectation that she'd be able to rationally understand the gravity of the situation is too much.

And the only way she could get child support from Phillip in SK is if he voluntarily put Tiffany on his family register. There is no law that forces him to support a child he had out of wedlock. Her parents are going about things in the wrong way, but I get why they are so crazy, they are seriously worried about Areum's future.
