And it is about the love of two young people during the period of turkish occupation. The boy is Cretan named Giagkos and the girl is the daughter of an Aga , and her name is Eminè. Of course their love is totally forbidden and - as poet says- the only place they are aloud to exist is dreamland. I will try to translate this part, in my way... 😊 " ... and their only consolation during the day and the night was their encounter in dream's land. ... there ! where evil people have no authority to put fences and boundaries to separate people. ...and where the law and commands have no place to be, and people's thoughts are never imprisoned...
