Tara was the one character that everyone hated but I couldn't see why she was hated. She cool and funny and laid back. She had a sense of humor and used it when everyone needed. She got Oceanside to help win the war against the Saviors. She got shit done when she became leader of hilltop. She was a great character that will be missed so thank for this. Speaking for all the Tara fans it really means a lot that she has her own edit that shows how much of a good person she was.♡
Leshaun Griffith she’s just annoying at times, and sometimes the acting is a bit cringe, so that’s why. I personally am not a fan of her, but I don’t hate her she’s an ok character imo.
since the moment i saw her opening the door with a gun to the governor and her short hair :) i knew she was my favourite and i love her so much her role was amazing and alanna masterson couldnt have done it better. there are more edits of tara in a video titled “the walking dead 9x15 edits” the second edit is alot and its tara 😔 she will be missed
She spent a whole season with a very black and white view of the saviors when she herself was one of the governor militia. I think it made her unlikable for season eight. I liked her overall though
TWD is the most interesting show. That focuses on the good, the bad, and the ugly of humanity. Tara is the one of those chatacters that you multifandom really captured. Someone that keeps the human spirit alive.
Thank you for this. Tara is one of my favourite Walking Dead characters and I was really saddened when she died. I teared up watching the scene here too. I'm really happy you made a video showing her journey and the moments that made me love her as a character.
I almost completely forgot about Rosita stacking the boxes, supplies, etc on Tara and I loved that scene. This was almost too heartbreaking but the adorable scene at the end was truly needed. Beautiful tribute!

honestly seasons 7 and 8 are the worst seasons but angela kang (the new showrunner) saved the show. Season 9 was amazing (despite the fact that a lot of characters I loved died or were written off) it was fast paced, no bottle episodes and the new characters are so interesting. You should watch it, it's worth it

i'm of the belief that people started to hate tara because of the writing on the show, ricks the main character so everything has to involve him or impact him in some way. putting side characters on hold forever just to do one thing per season. combine that with the fact that the story was already extended, in some cases to the point of a screeching halt and the unpopular bottle episodes its understandable that some people will begin to not see the point of these characters because they were under utilized. examples of this, taras oceanside arc season 7, tara vs. dwight season 8, rosita basically only building a bomb season 8. it really got to the point where side characters were either only doing their one objective that season or talking about. unless u connect with a character hard, the way the walking dead use to write didnt favor small characters. under kang she pretty much improved everyone, because its now an ensemble piece, with 3 main characters and their support characters. i still dont get it though, i felt like tara's intro story with glenn was one of the best for a new side characters. i felt like that redemption was honest and real. she served as an extension of glens ideology and we got a good look at who she really was from there. as for her death although it sucks shes gone cause she was one of my favs as well. if u think about it it had to be tara as the big leader that dies on the pikes. she was the only one with connections to every community so it could motivate them. ezikiel was far too isolated in the kingdom to be an impactful pike death. even the new main characters dont have a real relationship with oceanside we've seen, so tara pretty much filled that role the best way possible. she went out like we all knew she would, she didnt run even though she had the chance, best out of most of them really, she was in front of the exit the highway men used to get in but she went down fighting trying to protect others and i think thats a bad ass death and fitting death for a character like tara. she had a big heart and we know the biggest hearts always take one for the team ala, glenn abraham, sasha and rick even though ricks still breathing
I miss her so much. I never understood why she got so much hate. She was useful, funny, kind, and one of the most selfless characters on the show. She lost her whole family, 2 girlfriends, glenn and abraham, and yet she still kept going. She was even able to forgive dwight after she realized he'd changed. Then after jesus died she knew people were counting on her to step up as a leader and she did. No one ever asked her if that was what she wanted but that didn't matter because tara knew it was the right thing to do. And she was SUCH a good leader I wish we could've seen more of that. She deserved better.
