We filmed a LOT of man on the street interviews with NASCAR fans for a sponsored segment. We look forward to sharing that series in a couple months on our main channel. Thanks for joining us! -Producer Tim
Nascar Engineer; what did he mean by Next Gen? He kept saying Next Gen but that seemed to mean ICE. Also, he said you can't run it 30 laps at peak power because you would drain the battery. Ouch. So we would need an EV stock car with 500 miles of range going at top speeds? Sorry, I don't follow Nascar so I'm just trying to understand. I do follow EVs.
Sustainability Nascar Person; how can Nascar be net zero by 2035 using ICE stock cars? If she installs chargers at the race venues, what is she charging, the spectator's vehicles? Sorry again, I know zero about Nascar but I do find this interesting.
A great deal of electricity is utilized at venues, training facilities, and offices. It can be sourced from renewable sources, offsetting emissions from fossil fuel operations. Governments incentivise corporations to operate with carbon neutrality. It supports environmental goals and enables greater national sovereignty. -Producer Tim Some incentives: www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p5886.pdf
@@MissGoElectricIndustry oh good. THANKS. I watched a video about swappable batteries. Maybe NASCAR could do that if they ever have an electrified series.
Love the coverage.. Good Job. Thanks

David Wilson " The enemy is Carbon and to reduce carbon". Good idea but no flying in and out of race tracks!

Is 120mph fast for Nascar? Does the stock car need to go 500 miles at 120mph? Can they switch EVs every 100 miles in the same race?
