Let’s see there was the International chain saw, the International boat, the International car, and I believe I even saw an International label on the side of the house. There was so much International in this film it made me hungry for pancakes. Thank J and L.
But they had a Oldsmobile car? Maybe they were from Forest City Iowa? John K Hanson the driving force behind Winnebago Industries started out in a IH-Oldsmobile dealership.
Too bad everyone was busy to notice the chainsaw noise or to stopped him before the tree came down. I was surprised that he was able to get it started. Not all city folks are like him.
Maybe 30-35 years ago, my BIL used to work with a couple of guys who were born & raised in the city. They firmly believed that all radio waves stopped at city limits. Of course, my BIL played right into this by telling them that every evening, we'd go measure the height of the crops, & compare our numbers with the neighbors. Had them hook, line, & sinker. And yet, rural folks are stupid...
WTF alright you AC fellas how found vid that should been left in the past LOL. You know many safety violations I see in this vid, I don’t think anyone would be farming after those dangerous acts. What farmers have there own summer house but has get loan to buy tractor n more land? I going to IH salt bath right now, thanks👍
Poor Jim will be broke by the early 80’s. Nice video!
Great old film. Be nice to have those old IH trucks, tractors too. Not a Red fan, but still nice. Thanks for sharing the find.

And no doubt an International refrigerator in the kitchen.
Oh my goodness, a Buick GSX! Out of everything in this vid, there is the real money today.
I love these old films.
I got a good laugh at this one! Thanks for sharing this.👍😂
This was probably the inspiration for “Son In Law.”
Very nice👍🏻

Here Lucy, some cookies I made this morning for you. Just a thank you for destroying our porch on our cottage.
What young man could afford a Buick GSX? That was cream of the crop muscle with a hefty price tag and high insurance premiums!!!!
I want that gsx
Those were the days.
only international harvester’s as well 😂
Fantastic! Love Fred’s style. Reminds me of Roger Kaputnik.
Cartoonist Dave Berg's alter ego in the pages of MAD Magazine.
Yes indeed. It's good to see people still know him.
I think Lucy wanted Mel, he didnt care for the farm work though.
