They need to hire women for interior design.
I know from talking to a person at a rv factory that for the most part the designers are men..they go for simplicity and leather. They don't get that women still want a home away from home.
Me too! I can't believe people are still designing RVS in brown, beige and faux oak.

Our class C is just like this except we have an awesome shallow pantry where you have wall paper at the entry. I REALLY LOVE the pantry!! So useful.

What a great job Liz and hubby....you guys did an awesome job. I grew up camping from tents, to pop ups, to coaches from 15' to 36 ' then to motorhomes. So after I got married we had a 38' coach we left in Florida. We took 3 mos a year off as my husband business was not dual in winter mos. In Upstate NY, just south of Rochester, NY. So we would travel the US or out of the country for so many weeks then back to Florida for a month or so. My parents retired to Florida for 10 mos. A year but continued to camp as well. In there retirement years they went through three new motorhomes, putting about 150,000 on each one! Camping is so much fun, you meet so many nice friends, not like staying in a hotel where you barely speak to a soul. Adventually we purchased a 26' motor home used with 35,000 miles and 8 years old. We had it for about 12 years and then we sold it. We had made D/P on a Class A Coach for our retirement but was not gonna pick up til July or so. Unfortunately, my husband passed away suddenly at the age of 62....so obviously I did not purchase the Class A and business reimbursed me the huge D/P my husband had paid. Enjoy,enjoy,enjoy! It will be great times for your children as well. I cherish all the memories of my camping days!

Starting with a Solid Camper with good bones is Key! You and your husband know what to look for to make certain you started with a great foundation to then transform.
My vote is for you and your husband to Create a Business Renovating these :) 😃 Purchase another that is Solid like yours, transform and Resell! Your Design Style and Professional Reno Will Be Appreciated by buyers who don't want to tackle themselves, but want to purchase with Your Professional Design and Head Out on their Adventure! You definitely have found your calling. Trailer is so beautiful and functional. Don't know why manufacturers of RVs don't have a clue about decor. Granted your camper is older but even now in RVs everything is dark and shiney.
I agree. When you look at the new ones the decor is so outdated… It was a lot of fun to make over a tiny space.

I look forward to making over our RV. Right now, it is so dark and dated. The only thing we have done so far is that we have replaced the carpet with peel and stick flooring. We did it over a year ago and it is holding up well. Thanks for all the ideas!

We were so inspired by the beautiful renovation of your camper that hubby and I decided to make ours over as an upcoming fall project. We also have a 2001 Ford Four Winds Class C basically same interior as yours. We were blown away on the before and after. And we love the neutral black white and gray colors. What a gorgeous job you've done, Liz!! I love your style. Your choice of black and white is a knockout in the RV and how bright it is! Shower curtains!! Now who would have thought of that? Unfortunately you've reignited my yearning for an RV. However, it seems senseless now with all the travel restrictions. Can't go west - COVID, Can't go east - COVID, Can't go south, the border is closed. Can't go north - why would you want to. Not to mention I'm 71 with a bad heart and lungs. Not conducive to lone travelling in an RV. But, if by some miracle I come across one, you're decor is one for the books!! Or maybe you could come and redo it? Fingers crossed you can hit the roads soon. Please take very good care of yourself. We want more videos!!!

Awesome transformation!! You’ll love camping in style! We’re tent campers, outside of our 10 night Cape Cod treks, we go in the weekends in the summer! Too cold & grounds are closed any other time! Our weekend treks are just that tenting, only at campground to sleep & shower!

I have the exact camper! We just bought it and only 24,ooo miles, but 20 years old! Love your effort in the newer look - not sure I can reach that level as age may play apart to that. Looks just wonderful and I am jealous of your not being afraid to tackle that shower! Please let me know how hard it was to tackle that carpet

Your RV is SO adorable!! This is something my husband and I have been looking into as well. We are 49 and 45 and our youngest of 3 children will be moving out soon - so we plan on traveling while we’re young enough to get out and do a lot of hiking and such.
