Wait until you realize the Yellowstone park is near exploding yes it's an active volcano, and will eventually explode covering nearly everything In inches of ash shits no joke either look into it they just closed portions of the park there was 100+ earthquakes there last December alone. Some areas have risen 3+ inches in one year and then a new crack just opened up... Shits going down.

This event is so significant, not even the media can exaggerate it and that’s saying a lot. Just look at the live feeds from the places affected and you will see how bad it is. My political views maybe in the middle, but the one thing you will never hear me deny is global warming. This event coupled with a significant amount of rain that has fallen in the past month here in Florida which is way above average, its hard to deny that the weather patterns are changing more dramatically these days.

People don't even realize how bad it is for the lungs and heart to inhale this stuff. It's not just wildfire ash, it's highly contaminated and toxic wildfire ash that traveled from Canada to US. The longer it stays in the air the more toxic it becomes.
Only good news is that it shouldn't be fatal in most cases. If it was volcanic ash the people inhaling it would be in serious trouble.
However the quantity and density of the smoke is a concern imo. This isn't just a big forest fire, it's like 400 wildfires all at once. So it may get really bad and worse than people imagine.

We experienced this exact situation in Hemet, California, with the Fairview Fire last September. I could not breathe, and my eyes were burning from the smoke.
The difference is the open sky, and I believe the wind blew the smoke in a random direction. Also, a random Baja Californian mini-hurricane cleaned the sky, so we got a little luck of fresh air. @@heythere6983 This is because the smoke and ash becomes increasingly toxic as it travels. The air some canadians are breathing right now is low quality but nowhere near the same toxicity as the folks in NYC are breathing. What needs to be taken into account considering these dire circumstances is the severe disturbance, not to say total disruption of the global atmospheric jet streams, causing highly abnormal circular wind patterns keeping the highly polluted air trapped within local and "closed" air circulation loops. This phenomenon is caused by anomalies in difference between arctic and equatorial tempatures that normally generate and regulate an overall west-to-east oriented planetary air circulation system. Generally spoken, we not even near grasping both the enormity and the impact of the situation we find ourselves in, while - metaphorically speaking - we're behaving like a family watching television in the living room with the house on fire.

The ancestors are speaking. Here's a poem they wrote through me during COVID titled:
    THE WINDS KEEP BLOWING
The winds... what do they represent?
I hear her outside my window.
Blowing & Moving and Blowing & Moving,
doing her part to change the world...
    Do you hear her?
    Do we understand the winds...?
    Do we understand her language?
    It's a universal language...
A language that has been speaking
the same way, since the beginning of time...
    We refuse to understand...
    Listen... she's getting Louder, Stronger...
I hear her outside my window,
doing her part to change the world...
    Is she loud enough?
    Do you hear?
    Do we feel her Anger?
    The wind is blowing...
    she's Annoyed, she's Displeased...

My house right near the fire on centennial lake, i thought it was foggy outside, I was sitting outside all day, the next day someone comes to my door says there’s a fire. I’m like ok I went to bed fell asleep went outside 12 hours later smelled smoke little more hazy, I went back to bed, woke up later on, same outside. I did not panic or freak out, that ain’t gonna solve nothing, in Canada we have house insurance. So we don’t lose anything, personal thngs there’s been more then enough time to get important things out, it is what it is, if my house burns then it burns I love my house dearly, but what can you do? People be like omg panicked I’m like Jesus people it’s better then a fire in a neighbourhood in the city, where there is more chances of people getting burned and dying, a forest fire at least you have time to leave you know for miles it’s coming, people party all the time for days and nights have fires going in a pit smoke everywhere no one complained of being sick or to smoky, but s haze and slight distant smell it’s causing heath concerns,

The fires might be causing a climate crisis, but climate crisis isn't the cause of these fires. Our Canadian forests haven't been managed properly for years. Many if these fires have been set.
    -Sincerely from a Canadian.

Raclark I agree. I can't speak for the situation in Australia, but in Csnada I don't believe it will change. It won't change because it is being used to push the climate change agenda. That and the Canadian Prime Minister is too busy spending money overseas instead of taking care of Canada's needs. We needed forest management, but that was cut from the budget. Currently we need resources to fight these fires. Resources that we don't have because of the current government's priorities.
Speaking to US citizens: If you want to write your politicians to blame the Canadian Prime Minister for dropping the ball there will be no hard feelings from this Canadian. In fact I encourage it. The PM doesn't seem to listen to Canadians. I feel he needs to be called out on the international stage for the poor job he is doing.

@@kristalynncreates Yeah some decent leadership in the world would certainly help. All we can do is ask and lobby for it. The more asking the better the chances. I am currently pestering local authorities.
And as for climate some seem to think that cutting carbon is a magic cure all. It cant cure what is a problem already, climate change or not. Good luck over there looks like you are going to need it and more.
