3D Rhombus Optical Illusion

- To watch in 3D, cross your eyes until the two images overlap and merge together.
When watching in 3d, we will see the following optical illusions:
1. The spinning rhombus appears to switch directions
2. Striped band appears to rotate in the opposite direction of the rhombus
3. Red cube floats in space
4. Red cube becomes transparent
5. Red cube rotates impossibly
6. The light falling on the rhombus appears to come from a source opposite its real source
This illusion is remarkable once we manage to observe it, but the effect may not be visible right away. We may have to replay more than once for the effect to assert itself.
*The rhombus illusion was created by Terry Pope as a target for the Pseudoscope. By filming the target with a stereoscopic camera and reversing the left/right videos, the same illusion can be seen without a pseudoscope.

This is incredibly awesome Rex. I saw all of the illusions you listed. Brilliant work!!!
wow! this is the first time i could cross my eyes the right way to see it perfectly!
720p and full screen helps a lot
Works! When you are watchin' it 3D you can change the rotation of the object from counterclockwise to clockwise and back by concentrating on the rotation hard enough. It's hard to explain but sometimes it looks that the rotation of the "cube" changes.
@heermarcel
Hi Marcel. The whole object, including the green wheel, is rotating counterclockwise.
you can choose whether to make it turn clockwise or counterclockwise. it has to do something with which brain half you use. with a little bit of practice you can make them switch at will
Thanks GP!
Excellent !
how do you only have 1000 views!?!?!?!?!?
@Rxe08 Rex, when i view this monocular, the whole scene is mostly rotating counterclockwise and sometimes clockwise. But binocular crosseyed I see the scene mostly clockwise. Did you invert left and right?
Nice idea. the point is that the whole scene is rotating the other way as the red box and greenwheel.
When I look crosseyed I can when I want also view the scene counterclockwise. Can you make the disparity (difference) between left and right bigger?
I can't keep my eyes crossed long enough.
awesome
Hoi Rex. Most of the time I see "the transoarant box" rotating clockwise. The red box and the green wheel are rotating counterclockwise. Can you tell me what the real rotation is of those objects binocular?
My eyes are too good for this lol
OMG, I see!!! Watch in full screen, look about 20-25 cm distance from monitor. Cross your eyes.
I see 3 rhombus, left and right - counterclockwise, and center R. - clockwise
Olá, todo objeto disposto de forma assimétrico quando realiza movimento uniforme tende a criar distâncias simétricas que ilude o observador.
If you work hard you can train your brain to switch directions almost at will.
its if you cross your eyes until they overlap the middle one is in 3D
What im suposed to see?

Look at green part!!!
Wtf , none of the illusions work except the immage to my left goes in the oppisite dirrection.
change L-R to R -L
I watched everything well
wwowowoowow now i get it!
I saw them turn clockwise and then counterclockwise. Mindfuck
I don't get it
i dont get it -.-
