- On Wednesday July 22nd, I was granted a day off of work to chase the Nickel Plate Road 765 on its ferry move from the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society shops in New Haven, IN to Cleveland, OH. Running as NS train 955, the engine pulled its tender, a 611 water tender, tool car, 7 gondolas, 18 passenger cars, and an NS boxcar from East Wayne Yard, up the Wabash to Butler, IN, and across the New York Central to Rockport Yard. You'll see the engine depart the FWRHS lead, shove back to Fort Wayne, and proceed east in clips recorded at the following locations and times:
FWRHS Lead - 0857 HRS
New Haven, IN - 0925 HRS
New Haven (Maumee River) - 1037 HRS
Spencerville, IN - 1112 HRS
Concord, IN - 1158 HRS
Bryan, OH - 1252 HRS
Stryker, OH - 1307 HRS
Wauseon, OH - 1332 HRS
Swanton, OH - 1353 HRS
Sandusky Bay, OH - 1724 HRS
Huron, OH - 1843 HRS

Looks like in the beginning someone was using a drone to photograph the engine. Nice Video! Excellent work!
Excellent H/D Video.Thanks for sharing.
4501trainman Thanks!
The drone flying over this steam-driven wonder at 6:55 is an odd pairing of technology. :-)
Great coverage! Well done!
David Kamptner Thank you!
