This movie is so educative, raising the importance of always having medical tests before engaging into mariage. This is so unfortunate that in most African society these vital practices are not encouraged. Moreover the fact that infertility in the couple is systematically put on women is a major sign of ignorance. Many women since ages have taken it on themselves, tried to find ways of protecting their mariages by all means.

Nice, calm, amicable ending for Tina & Epharaim. Tina was put through a lot. Women hold most of the burden associated with conceiving, bearing & raising children. Women always take most of the blame when they can't get pregnant even when they're completely healthy as if they can get themselves pregnant. A mans ego never allows him to take the blame or shoulder the responsibility for his inability to help conceive a child. It was crazy that although Epharaim knew intellectually that Tina was not even partly responsible for her pregnancy because she was violated emotionally he could not wrap his head around another man being with his wife in a way that was meant for only him. Tina being pregnant by another man coupled with having a low sperm count was a blow to Epharaim's ego. Some or most men live by societal codes & are programmed to think with men sex is just sex but with women sex is tide to love or emotions so they feel a emotional betrayal if the woman they love is with another man. The hardest thing for a mans pride and self worth is not being able to get past the physical act, thought & optics of their woman being with another man. Clearly after cooler heads prevailed Tina and Epharaim would find their way back to one another. Very unfortunate but the miscarriage helped to make things less complicated. Good story, entire cast did well.

I agree with you Hildah but some men or seemingly most men go by societal codes that program them to believe that for men sex is just sex but for women some not all sex is tide into love or emotional attachment so there is the notion of some type of emotional betrayal & the biggest thing remains for a man is thinking about the physical act of another man being with the women he loves in the intimate way that's meant only for him is the main thing they can't get past. As we know in this case she was violated & not at fault & while he may understand intellectually, emotionally here again he can't get past the idea & societal codes that men have been programmed to live by. Perhaps women should not be so forgiving to even the playing field. Ur ? is awesome
