the song that they sang in between is entitled "ili-ili" it is a folk song from the Philippines that is dedicated to all the babies..the mothers will sing this to make the baby fall asleep and "ili-ili tulog anay, wala diri imo nanay" means "baby just sleep, your mother is still not home.."
proud of this kiddos because I am one of those who witness their journey during the competition when they were just starting and how their friendship grow..
so many people only watched the show for The TNT Boys and Dimash-I was mad too Oxy -when I saw Francis teary eyed and Mackie holding back tears trying to be the big brother I knew something was wrong and not letting Keifer do the whistle note I realized they were not going to let them win--as an American I am sorry and mad--a lot of Americans are mad about the whole situation and are voicing their opinions -I practically never watch American TV just because of nonsense like that----anyway they are my champions
Im a Filipino living here in USA for 30 yrs now and I just wanna thank you for your honest comment Angie. I totally agree, and we Filipinos love and adore a lot of American music, they were an inspirations to us in many ways and for the TNT boys not getting the chance and losing the contest is very disappointing. I really appreciate your thoughts and sentiments about these boys losing the contest for whatever bs reasons.

According to TNT Boys Instagram they are suppose to sing this song but TWB producer switched it to flashlight, flashlight is one of the best song they covered but they dont let them sing more and cut all the best part specially kiefer whistle, that explains why they are all sad its like they are forcing them to do that so they wont win 😠😠 anyway its their lost

Love your defense of these sweet little boys. Thank you! These shows are scripted and I do believe they manipulated the results. The rumor is that they were told to change their song to "Flashlight" and they are on leaked tape of them practicing this song for the show. Producers forced the change, and cut out the parts of the song. They knew their chances of moving forward were diminished and they feared that they would be eliminated.

Scuttlebutt is that they practiced for this song in the semifinals of "The World's Best" but CBS disapproved and made them sing "Flashlight", and worse, they shortened the performance and even cut Kiefer's whistle-note part. Being very young, they couldn't hide their displeasure and it was very evident in the performance. Notice their lack of enthusiasm and disheartened demeanor in that performance. They lost and were eliminated in these semifinals.
Perhaps, in retribution, they released this TNTV version on UA-cam. Go savor their raise-back.
We have the same feeling about what the TWB did to them,but I like the 3 American judges.love them so dearly.

The insertion is Ili I'll tulog anay it's a fan!ous lullaby in Hiligaynon my native language. The lullaby was used as a piece in so many international chorale competition if you are going to search on UA-cam you will find alot of chorale singers perform the song in so many countries. It's such a beautiful lullaby that every baby Filipino babies get to hear to sleep. If yo have spare time pls listen to that insertion in whole piece it so beautiful. This is the song that they were supposed to sing on the TWB championship round but they switched it to Flashlight. There was a leaked video of the boys rehearsing. I think the production staff of TWB asked them to change their song so they would not win. Also they axed keifer's whistle on flashlight.

These talent shows and even reality shows are orchestrated from the very start. They're more concerned about high ratings coz that means more earnings. It's a sad fact and I think us Asians are always subtly discriminated, they only allow us to be part of their shows early phase of their shows to show eyes not biased, but later on, they will manipulate the outcome of everything that's gonna transpire in the show all thru out. If Dimash won't make it as well, this show won't be that credible anymore.
"Ili-ili" is an Ilonggo dialect when you cradle and sing a lullaby to a baby.. "tulog anay" means "sleep awhile," 'wala diri imong nanay" means while your mother is away ...

In this song, they only sang the first 2 lines.
This song is sang to us, Ilonggos, by our parents/aunts/uncles, etc to help us go to sleep when were little....The melody of the song was adjusted to fit the Million dreams but it is similar to the lullaby melodic line/notes but different arrangement as the lullaby. It was very creative. Filipinos are known to have great musical arrangers...
TRIVIA: Technically, Ilonggo is a LANGUAGE, not a dialect. A language is spoken by (1) more than a million speakers (2) it is distinct (original or evolved) not a variant of another language. The American English is not a unique language opposed to the British English. The American English is a variant or derivative or dialect of the British English. Not so with Ilonggo. Ilonggo (Hiligaynon) is a NOT a derivative from tagalog. It is part of the group of languages called Visayan languages for which bisaya (cebuano), Karay-a, Aklanon, etc. are a part of also. Tagalog is distinct from Hiligaynon and not part of the Visayan languages.....
Also allegedly, they were supposed to sing this song but at the last minute the producers changed it to Flashlight. They have a video during rehearsals and they were practicing this song. :-(

Its not fair for tnt boys of what the worlds best done to them.. they were elliminated with no reasons.. they werent allowed to pwrform theyre own song.. actually a million dreams was suppose to be thier finale song and that suit there wearing but the staff or producer of worlds best changed thier song to flaslight and cut mny of the song.. even the whistle of kiefer wasnt allowed
Finally oxy ur here to react to tnt boys,,,im so happy again coz I see them smiling and very energetic while singing after happen in the TWB,do u know that supposed to be that song is the song they will sing in finale but so sad bcoz the producer of the TWB change and switch it in to flashlight in a very short version and they remove the power ful parts of the flashlight,,,anway they are still our winner but im a different way,,,ilove them all trios

We pilipino we have amazing voice, sadly when it comes to judging, especially in North America. They think our voice doesn't match the way we look. They think english is only for face with pointed nose. Please just listen, forget about the people how they look. Ok. Let's be a united.

No doubt the whole *dumpster fire of a show* was fixed, and I think Dimash picked up on that because HE was favored to win, and he bowed out to give the young acts a chance and that was probably the most noble thing he could have done! *MUCH* respect for Dimash!!😁👍 As you probably already know, the TNT Boys were set up to lose right at the very end, because *THIS* was the song that would have taken them over the top for the win, but the TWB officials weren't having it and made them do Flashlight instead and then cut out the best parts with Kiefer's whistles notes, etc. I will *NEVER* watch that show again after what I saw. I don't even care who won, the TNT Boys literally had the rug pulled out from under them, and I don't imagine they'll think too highly of James Corden anymore, even after he set up the meeting with Ariana. I don't know how much he had to do with them losing, but I'm pretty confident that he was involved in some way.😡
