A pre-emissions truck or no ELD is required. Honestly, the stupidest thing I ever did because they charge 30 to 50 grand more just so you don’t have to run an ELD.
A glider is a truck when built from the factory does not have engine and transmission installed. Most all of the time it is then sent to an upfitter that will then install a reman trans and either a rebuilt or reman pre emission engine. It’s about the only way to getter a newer truck with older style non emissions engine. Unfortunately they quit building gliders in 2020 so the only way to get one is to buy used.
Nothing sweeter sounding than a Caterpillar engine. And love the color....
