There is a Circle K store near my house and I'm in there 2 or 3 times a week. I did not get his name, but I must point out to you that the manager there helped me far beyond ordinary measures this morning. I am 74 and slightly disabled by a stroke. This manager, a big guy with a beard, went far beyond the usual to help me this morning. It wasn't all that much, but it meant a great deal to me. I hope someone in your upper management will thank him for his care for his customers. Thank you.
YES!! I'M A CUSTOMER OF CIRCLE K, LOVE'S AND SLEEP INN..... 💛 they're all near by to us and have always been part of some wonderful memories but also lots of various great products and great customer service experiences for me andmy family!!🎉😊
Can confirm circle k exists, I’m a customer service rep there. At least three of the locations by my house each have different gas and tobacco prices varying between .30 to .50¢
Which state? I think i might rename the title, the Rise, Fall and Rise Again of CIrcle K as it has rebounded. Be sure to subscribe for new updates every Wed if you enjoy content like this!
@@companyinsight its true, the only ones I've been to are in Florida (which I'm pretty sure is the only state in the south to have them, they have Wawa too)
I got to know and love Circle K in Japan but a few years ago they turned all of them into Family Mart, which is the second biggest convenience store chain there after 7-Eleven. I used to love Circle K's logo and colours! Though Family Mart's are very nice too anyway
Subbed and liked. I know the 16 Circle K stores that I frequent, don't repair their broken-down equipment including fuel pumps very quickly, don't keep their fast food stocked well, waste tons of food (probably all convenience stores have this problem), don't really care about the employees, and don't keep their stores real clean, On the other hand, many of their employees don't work very hard (hardly at all, no pride), very short handed, and pay less that competitors. On the "third" hand, they have customers who steal products on a daily basis, use the bathroom on the floor of the bathrooms almost weekly (yes, #2, too!), throw trash on the ground all over the lot and even right beside trash containers, stuff food down their face so they don't have to pay for it, think it is okay to cut line or throw money on the counter to keep from waiting in line, and generally disrespect all employees many times a day. My conclusion: Circle K does the best it can. A surprisingly large percentage of people suck.
Most Circle Ks dont own the equipment including gas pumps which is y it takes time to repair due to contacting owner/managment to have them send someone to repair. My store was owned by Holtzman Oil who is a huge company and they delivered our gas and had a huge team of repairmen for all kinds of different things and so had to b reported to them and then them have the time to come repair. This included gas pumps, registers, soda machines, coolers etc etc Far as customers yes same here n my state and so yes thats right #2 n floor not to mention #1 n mens bathroom every where but..we cleaned and kept ours checked and cleaned and kept our food up. The hot grill food may have not always been changed over exactly when suppose to b due to us getting very busy but otherwise our store did really well with thise issues. Pay was not the greatest by no means and yes there were silly ass rules and rule changes. I had new employees comment that I did what I wanted lol and to an extent yes but I was the longest employeed employee there and I worked my ass off and always made sure everything was done daily so n that since they allowed a few things to slide where I was concerned which may have seemed to others as me doing what I wanted but anyway guess that turned into a book lmao but thats my version of my store I worked at. By the way my store closed down ending my job and that store was closed for 2 years or more and is now a 7 eleven which bought us out but could not get lease contract and buy out set up and fixed b4 our lease ending so then would b up to our store team management to pay to start a new lease and keep store operational until they got theirs together and so they were like nah not worth it
It's interesting to see how different Circle K is in different places. I'm currently an employee in Circle K Estonia, and it's the nr 1 gas station that we have.
They are coming to my city right now. 2 brand new gas stations are currently being built and 1 already open gas station bought from a different gas station brand is being converted. I had never heard of them before. A city in one county over is also getting three I think it was. Otherwise all their other locations in my state are in the other half of the state and I don't know how long those ones have been there. So they are heavily expanding right now with 6 locations just in my half of the state.
Hows your view on them? Thanks for the support Chromero. Be sure to subscribe for new updates every Wednesday if you enjoy content like this. New video coming out later today is on Toys R Us. =D

Circle K is supposed to be a "One Stop Shop," but in the last 5 to 6 years here in Algonquin Illinois, the selection of products has been reduced both in number and quality. Sure, they still sell alcohol, but in our neighborhood, the bottles are larger and more expensive. So I for one am going elsewhere, for example to Jewel-Osco or a neighborhood liquor store for booze. Secondly, there's no bread, often little or no (zero) yoghurt products for those of us who like or need that kind of product / nutrition. Thirdly, the customer service is approaching zero. One new hire, who has been there almost a year, has gone from not knowing how to check a lotto number, but hitting on certain customers of the opposite sex (more on that in a moment), to being downright rude and even entitled as to her position there in relation to paying customers. She not only flaunted her disregard for the county health department advisory to wear masks, she actually went out of her way to step away from the cash register,go outside tell a customer who was voluntarily getting his mask NOT to pay any attention to the sign on the door politely requesting anyone entering wear the mask (this was during the approaching the peak illnesses and deaths attributed to Covid and the variants). Now, the same employee passes hours gossipping and even slandering other employees and customers. According to one employee, she has been saying that a local US veteran raped another customer and there's a rape kit at the police station to prove it. Oddly enough, the very same woman who was allegedly violated, has decided to go to the employee and tell her to stop the slander. This didn't happen. When the veteran politely asked the manager why this wasn't addressed, the manager, Christina, said that it wasn't her problem. Then, with no provocation, she loudly raised her voice and said "GET OUT OF MY STORE". However, another employee repeatedly said the problem was being addressed. And she begged the complainant NOT TO CALL THE CORPORATE OFFICE. But if the manager won't take the problem seriously, and one cannot call or contact corporate, what is the proper avenue for a customer who feels there is a problem? Call the police? Write the state and federal representatives? Take Circle K and Shell to court for slander? About the sexual harassment: not only did the clerk hit on me with no invitation on my part, unsolicited & unwanted attention when all she needed to do was her job, there's more! According to one other employee, the same offender was blatantly flirting with a married man. The wife found out, and is, understandably, VERY upset about THIS, and wants to address the issue face to face Maybe corporate doesn't want to be bothered by this either. Maybe it's this Christina.who together with the offensive employee (fraternizing? ) sets policy and enforces it. Who knows? This old army vet owns a Chevy Silverado V-8. When it's filled , fuel topped off, that's close to $80.00 premium gas ⛽ not to mention anything else bought. But that is no problem. Yours truly has been going down the road to Bucky's Mobil or Thornton's Even the other mom & pop franchised off brand gas stations have better service, so there's no need to reward bad behavior and pay our hard-earned money to get bad service and abuse on top of that. Good luck, Shell Gas/ Circle K. We wish you all the best with this. Have a pleasant day.
