Minecraft 1.19 Tutorial - How to make the Warden your friend

Commands:
/team add team_name (Creates new team called team_name)
/team join team_name @p (Appends the player to the team)
/team join team_name @e[type=minecraft:warden] (Appends all mobs with type "minecraft:warden" that have already been spawned in the world to the team)
(Repeating Command block Command)
This command is required to keep adding Wardens to your team every time they spawn in the world, make sure to set gamerule commandBlockOutput to false to avoid chat spam!
/execute as @p run team join team_name @e[type=minecraft:warden]

You can get a behavior pack on bedrock where you can tame a warden but not on java tho😭

tbh just get the Tame Warden behavior pack where you can tame a warden and he will be able to follow you fight for you and he will do other things with you since i have the pack on all my versions of minecraft lol

How to make only 1 friendly warden?

You can summon a warden and make it automatically join your team
/summon warden ~ ~1 ~ {Team:team_warden,PersistenceRequired:1}
The problem is that when you summon wardens this way they immediately disappear in the ground.
Another way would be to find the uuid of the specific warden you want to add but i dont know how to do that yet!
Or just make sure you spawned 1 warden only in your world and run the /team join team_warden @e[type=warden] and don't use it again!

Hi, are you sure you used the right commands?
/team add team_name (means team_name can be whatever you want, lets call it team_warden)
Once you spawn a warden in the game, you have to join it in the existing team with
/team join team_warden @e[type=warden] (means every **EXISTING** warden will be added in the team)
you also should make sure you are in the team as wel!!
/team join team_warden @p or @e[type=player]

@@geekygymrat when i typed it in and went to a ancient city, all the wardens attacked me ( java version btw )

@@yuKCODM Did you place the repeating command block? Otherwise Wardens that spawn will not automatically join the team and will still try to kill you.
