Hey Robert, Thanks for the Great Video on changing drive belt. Your video showed me everything I needed to know. Have a 8 yr old x590 that has PTO clutch problems and as long as I'm changing belt i will be replacing clutch.
@TheAirboss1955 I am glad I was able to help. I did everything I could to get good shots of everything for the viewers. I benefit all the time from you tube how to videos so I am always glad when I can post something like this to help others. Thanks for watching and for leaving a comment.
Robert, thanks for your excellent video of this procedure. Unfortunately I was not able to get belt between the rock shaft hook and the hydraulic lines. I was able to reach up and pull down on the deck lift lever and push the hydraulic cylinder backwards just enough to gain clearance. I managed to squeeze it back with heel of hand, though a small pry bar may be easier. I also rotated the deck cutting height knob to gain some clearance as well.
@@johndenning2266 I,m so glad you found the video helpful. I benefit from videos like this all the time so I am always happy when I can ,are something like this that helps someone else. I just shot the video of the new seat upgrade today so be sure to subscribe and hit the notification bell to see that one when I release it. Thanks for watching!
@michaeltangusso9801 Yeah, I got thinking after I made this video. My previous tractor was an X530 which I sold to my in-laws. I never replaced this belt on that machine and it has double the hours on it the 590 has. No issues that I know of. Might have been a bad belt form the get go. Hard to say. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.
