Was looking for a recipe to use up a bunch of chicken breast tonight. Stumbled upon this and not disappointed! Not dry at all, super juicy and maximum shreddage! Even the onions and bacon pulled apart so easily. Also, the flavor combo was top notch...the onions and bacon create a sweet and salty jam that is out of this world! This is now going to be my go-to pulled chicken recipe. Subscribed, can’t wait to watch more of your content. Thank you!

    Bedankt Roel,
Afgelopen zondag deze gemaakt op de Big Green Egg.
Ik heb nog geen Dutch oven maar op de skillet ging dit erg goed, na een uur deze ingepakt met aluminium folie. Wat een succes! Alvast bedankt!

Love how you eat above the Dutch oven and let all those crumbs falling from your mouth give some extra taste for the next eater.

gday PX just did this dish and it was definitely superliciouse hot straight out of the dutch oven yum yum. Had some leftovers which i reheated by putting in a hot pan with slices of cheese over the top plus some extra bbq sauce. truthfully it was even better.
    Cheers from Australia

We have a similar way that we call a "potjie"! Castiron round belly on the open fire. That cooks meat the best way, especially oxtail. Mouth watering thought! Good show, looks yummi!

That is a great one, bro. In general, birds give great meat, by beeing a little bit tricky in terms of overcooking, but a dutch oven handles it quite nice... thumbs up.

Je gebruikt een mooi ding om veilig hout te kloven. Maar je maakt hem erg onveilig door een bijltje te gebruiken. Pak een houten hamer hier voor. Voor je het weet heb is je het bijtje in je lichaam hangen

I've watched your live shows on several occasions and they wre great fun especially with the community chat please keep them going. As an aside have you heard of inverted fire? It's how i start my woodburner every day in the winter. I can go from zero to full burn (7kw) in 20 mins which is important when you work full days

Nice job, I wouldn't have thought of toasted bread - I would go straight to tortillas with that. That is sure to be good.

You use the cast iron pan wrong, the fire be supposed to under it and fry top of it. that why it has three metal legs.

Perfect dinner for our annual fishing trip. Fifteen hungry guys who expect something special for dinner every night. Add a pot of BBQ beans and coleslaw and you have a feast! Thanks for the recipe Chef. I'll make this one for sure. With the butter, bacon and rendered fat from the chicken skin you're almost making a chicken confit. Great method for fall apart yet moist chicken. I really like this one!

Roel, seems like they didn't give you the whole setup. Why didn't you use a whole farmers chicken? Could you do a video on that? Maybe make a bit of effort and make your own rub, just as easy.
Please use the Atago and the Convection lid, surely Petromax will sponsor that.

The Real Joey B that is really kind of you. I love to watch these bbq meat videos but if I get around to cooking them it will only be for my parents. I've had all but 1 metre of my intestine out which restricts whatbi can eat and I'm mostly bedridden but it's on my bucket list. I dream about doing bbq, bread making, and cheese making but I'm unlikely to do sny of them. I spend a lot of time watching youtube videos, then I get excited and then I wake up in the morning in horrific pain but I keep telling myself that I might do it some day. I like to think on the positive side because you never know what may happen. I've dodged death so many times in the past 8 years. I was 32 eight years ago and my doctors gave me two years to live. That is why I still dream of doing all these things. Once again thank k you for your kind offer.
