Eskimo Callboy could very well win Eurovision if they get chosen in germany. We send terrible music there for years now even though usually there are good options to choose. There aren't that many harder guitars in Eurovision but Lordi won in 2006 with Hard Rock Hallelujah and Eskimo Callboy is way better than that :D
Last years submission to Eurovision was one hell of a trainwreck to be honest. Plus both rock acts that entered last year got ranked pretty high in last years edition as well. EC has a pretty good shot of ranking high if they make it!
As an English person I would happily vote for them
I hope they do, the only other band i really cared about winning was lordi

Getting the biggest American audience since ABBA is easy. Nobody knew them when they took part in Eurovision. The song they sang there was the start of their career.

I felt the song was way to short and ended abruptly, but as i learned recently: the maximum length for a song accepted in the Eurovision contest is exactly three minutes ... ;).
They are coming over to you to the U.S. next fall. They just announced tourdates.

That's exactly what makes these guys special indeed. Not only are they visually hilarious, but also musically, this is top league. The combination of fun/catchiness and hard music is unprecedented. And I wish so much that they start for this country here at the ESC. The last years/decades were just pathetic.

Love this band! They clearly have a sense of humor and are tight musically. Great sound. It seems like the addition of their new singer has taken them to the next level.

I will be seeing them next summer. They will be playing on a festival i go to every year and its 10 minutes from my home.

Our media is absolutely messed up in this regard, so I'm not really optimistic, sadly. But who knows

Reaction wise I get just as much value out of your reaction as theirs.
The only reason I watch them more often is because they have a system.
The watch one song from a particular artist, I can predict with a 90% accuracy what song they will react to next, or at least within a week or two.
This makes me check in cuz I know Its coming.
Its not that youre any worse than them, whenever I see your stuff pop up I generally watch it.

unfortunately Eurovision has very strict rules about their entries, basically forbidding profanity, sex, violence etc topics. Hence most of the songs on Eurovision are basically all the same "victory ballads" about love and togetherness (baaaaarf). Mostly its because of the fact the Eurovisions' origins lie in bringing Europe together after WW2

I would never watching something as awful as Eurovision…unless they are performing and that’d get my attention immediately. I can’t wait till they tour the US and I’ll even drop the money just to chill with them for a few minutes. Dudes seem awesome.

That being said, I love bands who don't take themselves seriously, yet their music is high class. TFN has been my fav band in the last months. Now I like this Eskimo Callboy song, just for fun value of it. Yet to see WBTBWB.
